    Well a better day today

B - Muller light youghurt and banana
    L - Home made stew
    T - More stew!

Snacked on another banana and some satsumas and have had 2 mugs of tea.

No gym visit as its closed due to the heavy snow we are getting. However had to walk up the hill home from where I had to leave the car!

First SW class tonight, went with dad who's done SW before and lost 2 stones in 13 weeks.

So everyone was really nice, Sally went through the plan with all of us and explained it really well, weighed in at more than I expected.
  • Can Slimming World help me?

I'm attracted to SW as its vegetarian friendly and a friend of mine lost lots and looks great!

However, all the meals seem to be really involved!

I'm a shocker for breakfast as it needs to be super quick, or can eat in the car, or quick at my desk...I know, I know, but I start so early I cant eat until later or I feel sick... Obviously, not going to be having an omlette or cooked brekkers.

Lunch time - if I'm in the office, I have a kettle and microwave. Again, needs to be something I can make and take in with me...sometimes on the road so keeping something cool can be a problem.

Dinner - reckon I'd do alright here. Most of the recipes look quick and easy :-)

It may just be the 'marketing' to make the food options look fantastic and I'd take full advantage on a weekend, but could it work for me in the week?

I'm sure this sounds really defeatist and pathetic to start off, but I do want to loose weight - just not sure I could face a SW meeting and fail...

As of yesterday, I have 11 weeks until a wedding, so 2lbs a week equates to approx 1.5 stone which would be AMAZING if I could do it...

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks x

Sorry for the quick reply itchiefeet as I'm just having dinner - but yes it can be done easily & conviniently with a bit of thought, planning & some evening preparation! :D

I work in cardiff. I live up a mountain north of Newport. Took me 2 and a half hours to do what is normally a 50 minute drive, and I had to walk some of that!

I have a morbid terror of being stuck in traffic during snow from a couple of years back. Took me 4.50 hours to get back from work - normally a 30 min drive - no mobile battery, car running on fumes. Last Tuesday didn't help as it took me & my SWC 2 hours to do a 20 min drive from her class! It scares me more than anything on this planet - not entirely sure why!
