Now here's a question (i'll be doing everyones head in soon). My book says sushi is 1.5 points per 100g on EE or green but what about other japanese foods? Me and BF like eating at Yo Sushi, i have the miso soup, the dumplings and a couple of bits of sushi, is there a guide to japanese anywhere? My wee book only features chinese, indian etc.

Have a wee look online for japanese stuff. i was looking last week for Miso soup cos I was going to make a prawn and noodle soup recipe they did on 'my great big diet show'. im sure miso soup to buy was quite low syns. I was looking to add it to stock. ill have another look later after school run. not sure about the dumplings though, would probably avoid them or give them to oh.

go and try it on and get to the pool. I love swimming. I go on Tuesday mornings (well havnt been since before xmas). I look terrible in a cossie, but on Tue mornings all the old ladies go for their aquatrim, they are all lumpy and bumpy too so I dont feel bothered. And because I cant see without my glasses, im in my own wee foggy world thinking that if I cant see them, they cant see me. I feel great after 40 laps or so.

all our snow has pretty much melted, but more forcast for later. Ive got wi tonight, hope its still on.

Did anyone see the Big Fat Diet Show last night. It was very interesting and showed you different foods that were high in calories but didn't look like they were (such as yoghurt covered raisins). They also showed how some low fat foods, such as cakes, were full of sugar and so full of calories (which I knew anyway but other people seem to assume you can stuff yourself with a low fat cake!)

Thing was, they said that an egg has 100 calories which surprised me, especially as slimming world seems to tell you to eat loads of them!

Im sitting here not knowing what to have for breakfast. I like honey nut mini shreddies but they go straight through me.:o I have to be careful what I eat and think I may be intolerant to wheat. I've had diarrhoea for over 2 weeks and don't know why. The doctor is doing tests at the moment but so far my blood tests have come back normal. So it seems Im not Coeliac (gluten intolerant). But I definitely know Im sensitive to wheat because I also had to sell my breadmaker because the lovely bread it made gave me diarrhoea too. :(

I have to be careful with eggs too because sometimes they upset my stomach - so that rules out anything with wheat or eggs for breakfast. I don't like fruit for breakfast because I don't feel very full and I wish I didn't have to eat at all because Im fed up with the diarrhoea.
  • Morning all

Good day yesterday, although I did get peckish as I had dinner earlyish so I made SW chips :) I'd forgotten how yummy they were! Hopefully another good one today - green.

    B - Shreddies and Semi-Skimmed milk (HEA & HEB)
L - Jacket spud with beans and cheese (HEA)
D - Quorn sausage, mexican beans and mash
Snacks - Fruit and muller light

I will have to buy the jacket spud cos I didn't want to make salad last night if work was off due to snow. Sadly I am in work though, not enough snow to cancel it!

I've walked to work and will walk home, so that's 40mins excerise too :)
