Thanks consultant. No, I don't cut them out but I'm trying not to have 'green' or 'red' meals that don't include superfree foods. My penne, baked beans & cheese is a very green meal, so have stopped things like that for the mo as I'm trying to incorporate veg at every meal (toms & mushrooms with my cooked brekkie, fruit with Marions rice, veg at lunch & dinner)

Just had my first scan bran outside of a cake.....it wasn't all bad actually though it was thickly spread with my quark pate! And you definately need a drink with it!

    Today I have had -

Homemade tomato sauce with pasatta, courgettes, mushrooms, onions, carrots and garlic on top of one and a bit lasagne sheets.

For dinner I am going to have mashed potato with carrots, onions and leeks mixed in. I will be having cabbage and broccoli on the side too.
I will be having tesco low fat sausages with it (2) and I have to syn these and the fish finger that I stole of the kids plates!

Do i count today as a green or EE day?
Lead me not into temptation, I can find the way myself.

wins - peroni bottle opener, peroni bowl, peroni coastersx2 and a vodkat cocktail kit,
would love to win something 'proper'!!

Evening all, weigh in is this Friday. I don't feel any lighter but fingers crossed anyway!

I've not had a brilliant day, I forgot my porridge this morning (I like to have breakfast at work) and had to survive on two weight watchers yoghurts all morning instead!

I had a jacket spud and beans though for lunch and also a couple of choccie biscuit bars which I've synned)

This evening I have some sw chips in the oven and 3 quorn fillets plus some peas on the go. Later on I'll have toast and my porridge oats if I have room for them.

I'm hoping for at least 1lb off this week, I have 2 stone to lose by early June, I don't want to be a chubby wedding guest!

Well done, that's a fantastic weight loss. I had to laugh when I saw that you're not completely chuffed at this loss.......your friend is different, has a different body with different ways of processing the food you've eaten. Please don't compare yourself to anyone else, you're off to a brilliant start, just keep building on it.

If you have the custard tonight, how will you feel in the morning? Is it liable to make you feel a failure or will you think of it as your ONE weekly treat? If you think you'll regret it tomorrow, don't do it. You can (very gently) heat a Mullerlight Vanilla and pour it over a chopped banana to simulate custard and it's free (or almost, depending on whether we ever get the syn value of Mullerlights sorted).

I ended up making a vege stirfry and eating that while the kids ate their tea. Have also eaten 4 ryvita (HEb) and 4 dairylea light (HEa) and a mug of tea.

PS Dont all shout but has anyone tried any diet tabs to help with weight loss ie Adios or Lipotrim etc?

Just thinking that I have only 241 days until I get married so may need extra help to lose 2.5 stone

I tried Adios and it didn't work - it only gets rid of water if you read the box, nothing else. The only one I do actually believ in is Alli - but the side effects put me off for life. Adult nappies anyone?

If you lose at least 1lb a week you'll do your 2.5 stone :D Any more is a bonus and gives oyu a bit of leeway ;)
  • Hi all,

Got to say boltonangel, Dr is deffo a pillock  Unbelievably bad advice and very dangerous. Really felt for you today. Hope you're feeling better, and people are right - get angry!

Anyway, it's been another green day today for me. Grazed on fresh fruit till lunchtime, then had some homemade yellow split pea and veg soup.

More fruit later, then for tea...well! I had just what I fancied! Made up a load of SW chips (cooked with spices on - mmmm), had with baked beans, fried eggs (fry light) and 2 quorn sausages. It sooo hit the spot! :D
