Oh no Kiwichick, Hope it doesn't get too serious! :(

Oh I love the sweet n sour mugshot! It only tastes carboardy if you don't let it soak long enough.

Fruit that is cooked is synned because you tend to eat it so much more easily. Often the skin is pared off (and of course that's where the fibre is) and instead of having to chew it, it slips down very easily. It's all to do with the psycholigical feeling of fullness you get from the action of the chewing.

Sounds logical but what about raspberries and other uncooked naturally soft fruit. Are they synned?

Yikes-it seems I'm allergic to fresh pineapple!! My tounge is swollen and feels like it has severe pins and needles-feels very weird.

I get that if I eat apples or cherries. Can eat em cooked though
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

No because they're still more filling in their natural form and you still have to chew them.

    Wot SC said :rotfl:

Soft fruits tend to be SS foods too, so in fact you'd be doing yourself a big favour eating them in preference to, say, a banana!
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

I get this but when I eat kiwi fruit. It's actually a rather serious allergy cos it can cause your throat to swell up and shut

Usually if you are allergic to pineapple you are also allergic to kiwi and vice versa as they have the same enzymes (or something like that). But I can eat pineapple no probs  just had big bowl now!

    hope you feel better soon

    evening everyone

Well my WI tomorrow - not sure how it'll go. Have been SO hungry this week (and a star week:rolleyes:) that I have eaten to the limit of the plan! Normally at this point I would go to the gymn (my version of a last chance workout:rotfl:) but I am SO TIRED this evening. I'll just have to accept whatever comes.

    Bake Off Boss!
Went to weigh in tonight...lost 2 lbs. Weighed a day early really cos weigh in last 2 weeks has been a Tuesday due to holidays.

As usual I was hoping for more off as felt I was doing really good, with the exception of Saturday when I had a bit extra  . But didn't think it would have given me as low a loss.

I know that's 5lbs I've lost so far but I always think you should have a bigger loss when you have lots to lose...sorry for moaning.

I'm going to stick with it though and hopefully once weather clears up I can do a bit of walking at night. Haven't done much in way of exercise last couple of weeks so hoping that will help.

I have the same reaction to kiwi and not to pineapple.

I joined sw again on Weds and on saturday I stupidly weighed myself (i posted on here afterwards) and had gained 2 pounds.
Today I felt and looked like I'd gained weight so I weighed myself again and had gained ANOTHER 2 pounds!

I have followed the plan completely so I don't know what to do now!

I have had 3 EE days, a green day and today is a red day. I have used my HEbs and syns but not gone over. I have measured everything I needed to.

It is not my totm either so I am at a loss (obviously not literally though!!! :) )

I have wi again on weds and am dreading it. I have gained 4 pounds and I know the leader will think that I am lying when I say i've stuck to it.

I lost a lot each week last time I did sw.
Lead me not into temptation, I can find the way myself.

wins - peroni bottle opener, peroni bowl, peroni coastersx2 and a vodkat cocktail kit,
would love to win something 'proper'!!
