Well they do say they are free and unlimited - and to eat until you were satisfied regardless of how much that takes - sounds like you did ok! :D

    My menu today;
Brekkie; mushrooms, sausages (free) & fried egg. banana
Lunch; mushroom omlette with added leftover carrots & greenbeans with baked beans
    Snack; grapes, banana
Dinner; quorn meatballs, spaghetti in a HM tomato, garlic & onion sauce.
Snack; krisprolls with quark salmon pate

Can anyone see anything wrong with this? I've done a week of EE - much the same as this and don't think I've lost a jot - WI at 10am tomorrow :(

Thanks. I do worry about portion size as some here seem to put e.g. had a orange and apple for snack and Im thinking, I've had more than a few :o

    Good luck at WI tomorrow.

My consultant always looks at my food diary and tells me I haven't eaten a lot - but then I only put down each item once. Because my Food diary says 'apple' doesn't mean I've only had one! Same with 'pasta' and 'egg' :D Don't worry - whatever suits you!

It all looks good to me. ive also been doing EE since last Tue and feel I havnt lost anything. If ive went over on syns one day ive made sure Ive counted it the next day.
Im going back to red and green on Wed if I havnt lost. I thought id give EE another go as they are really pushing it as the main plan now. I find it good for main meals but struggle with only one heb.
goodluck with WI tomorrow, you deserve a loss as youve stuck to it all week.

Yeah I'm exactly the same nic! Wanted to try it again to see how great it was, but to be honest it's not doing anything wonderful for me so I'd rather go back to red/green. I've been over my syns 2 days, but as you say I've counted them the next - so I'm definately under 70 syns for the week :o

can you buy the Hi-fi bars in tesco or other supermarket? Or are they exclusive to SW classes? Also - how much are they? and how many syns per bar!?
    Thanks.

£1.35 a pack of 3 and in group only. They are 6 syns each bar and can be taken as a HEB because they contain lots of fibre.

ETA: sorry, just saw that SC has answered this post already :o

  • the mugshot I had was a sweet & sour one. Don't like tomato flavours & don't eat meat so didn't have the chicken. I won't have one again! I've survived this long without mugshots, lol!

    hi everyone,

BTW I don't get the fresh v dried pasta thing - my fresh pasta says it contains durum wheat and eggs, that's all. No oil or anything synful over and above what dried pasta contains. And fruit! Calorifically it doesn't change when you heat it, so how come...?

Pasta has to have oil added in the cooking stage if it's then going to be bagged for sale otherwise it would stick together in one clump!

Fruit that is cooked is synned because you tend to eat it so much more easily. Often the skin is pared off (and of course that's where the fibre is) and instead of having to chew it, it slips down very easily. It's all to do with the psycholigical feeling of fullness you get from the action of the chewing.

Yikes-it seems I'm allergic to fresh pineapple!! My tounge is swollen and feels like it has severe pins and needles-feels very weird.
