    hi everyone,

Kiwi, don't stress it - it'll be fine. Even if you don't lose, you can be sure you're on the right track and have made a good start to changing how you eat and having a really healthy balanced way of eating! If it doesn't come this week, it will come - we are proof - so please don't worry too much. Let us know how you get on. ;)

BTW I don't get the fresh v dried pasta thing - my fresh pasta says it contains durum wheat and eggs, that's all. No oil or anything synful over and above what dried pasta contains. And fruit! Calorifically it doesn't change when you heat it, so how come...?

But hey, that's how it is - I have just learned just to accept and trust what SW advise.

Good to see thread so busy with new ideas and enthusiasm; loving it! Half a stone to go, can't see beyond that really. Thanks everyone, I don't chip in much but rely on you all for support!

    Morning All

I've just had Marions breakfast rice, it was lovely, almost like having rice pudding for breakie!! I soaked it overnight and then bought it to the boil this morning then turned off the heat and let it sit for 10 min - perfect rice. Mixed in a vanilla muller light and some fresh blueberries.

Just printed off the sweetcorn chowder recipe from the recipe archive at SW online, its only 1.5 syns on green days so I'm going to try and make some today.

Couldnt sleep last night, nerves about impending weigh in tomorrow, want to have lost SO badly.

Is this breakfast free on a green day?

No, fresh pasta is made with oil, so not free. Same with rice - it has to be the dried stuff not the ambient microwaveable pouches.

    Hi :0
Please can someone explain to me how the slimming world diet works? i have read posts mentioning 'green' days, and 'free' yogurts etc, and EE days.. and haven't a clue what it means!
I dieted with R.Conley a couple of years ago, and lost 3 stones, but have since put it all back on again and now have a really bad knee, so am thinking of slimming world because there is no point me spending my money on an excercise class when i can't join in!

ASre there any deals on at the moment/ is it expensive to join?
Thanks in advance to anyone able to help me on my first step to shifting about 4 stones! <daunted!>
