    Hi,

I'm after your help. The snow here has been horrendous and as a result I haven't managed to get to my group this week and get the online password.

Would someone please be kind enough to give me an idea of he number of syns in a 125g portion of Pataks Tikka Masala sauce. For this amount the stats are Cals 118, Sugar 4.9g, Fat 8.4g, Saturates 1.8g and 0.9g Salt.

    Many thanks.

Thanks Carla for such a speedy reply. Mine was a 500g jar and I had about a quarter so I'm just gonna divide 26 by 4 so about 6.5 I reckon. So that means I can go and grab a choccy biscuit with too much guilt!!!:j:j

    Hi Nic2075

Where do you get the Boyers sausages? I've heard of them but have checked our Morrisons and Somerfield and they don't seem to have them.

    Thanks

Forgot to say..The Ten Calorie soup from Morrisons is quite good as a wee filler. It's nice to take when in from work while making dinner or just to fill a space during the day.

Chicken flavour is nice and so is Tomato...only 1/2 sin per cup.

They are sold in Asda if you have one nearby :)

For a quick, tasty drink when it's bitterly cold out (like now) I have a beef Oxo crumbled into a mug of hot water. It just seems to hit the spot and they're syn-free now.
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

Took some soups to group on Wednesday night and the Butternut squash one in particular, was such a hit I thought you might like the recipe. It's so quick and easy but really tasty and syn-free on all plans.
    You will need:

1 butternut squash, peeled, cored and cut into chunks
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon curry powder (or more if you lke things very spicy)
2 vegetable stock cubes in 2 pints boiling water

Put everything in a large pan and bring to the boil. Lower the heat and simmer for ½ hour. Blend and serve.

    Simples :D

Hi, I got them Asda, they were all reduced before xmas (soon out of date), and saw a few after xmas, so I got a few packs for the freezer. They seem quite expensive compaired to other sausages so I hadnt tried them before. I normally have Morrissons Eat Smart pork sausages, they are free on red and EE, but I feel they lack seasoning, but still tasty enough if you need a sausage fix.
