Hi nic
My consultant also says that Plain roasted rotisserie chickens are ok to have.
Its just flavoured ones & Extra tasty(the ones injected with oil) that you have to watch.WOW its cold out there. Im back form WI and had dinner and defrosted myself.
I managed to put on 7 1/2 lbs over xmas. Im alomst back at the weight I was when i first started almost 2 years ago. Things were going well until I moved house, the oh got a job working away so I comfort ate in the evenings and binged and 'treated' ourselves at the weekend. I can only blame myself.
So this is a new start, and this is the year I do it and get to that 10 stone target. We got engaged last August and had planned to get married this year, but OH 's job finished and he hasnt got a new one yet. Plus theres no way I want to get married the way I feel. So hopefully if things go well we may aim for the end of this year. Ive already bought my dress, way back in September. I cant fit into it anymore, so thats my first goal. To lose a stone and try my dress on again.
Oh is going SW with me again. He lost 2 1/2 stone in 3 months when we did it properly last Nov. So at least we can encourage each other.
btw, this was the first night at this new class, I felt so much happier there. A good atmosphere and the consultant was helpful, motivating and funny. The only thing is she told everyone that its fine to get a rotisarrie(sp) chicken from the supermarket, take all the skin off it, and eat it all for free. Im sure those chickens are pumped with sugar and oil? I didnt say anything but all the newbies were grinning like maddies thinking of a whole hot chicken in the car in the way home.0 -

Thats ok then. ive always avoided them thinking they would all be full of fat. They are too expensive anyway. I tried to check online, but i couldnt get any info.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
I went for my 1st meeting today after re-joining.
It's really snowy up here and the few people who did manage to get there didn't stay so it was just me and the consultant!
She explained the extra easy plan to me and assured me it does work, although i really can't see how!
If ee works then why do they still have red/green days? I know I'm probably being stupid but I just don't get it (I understand what to eat etc, just not how it can work)
Is the weight loss the same on ee as opposed to doing it the traditional red/green way?
When we left my car got stuck in the snow and the consultant's dh had to drive up and help me while me and the consultant pushed!!Lead me not into temptation, I can find the way myself.
wins - peroni bottle opener, peroni bowl, peroni coastersx2 and a vodkat cocktail kit,
would love to win something 'proper'!!0 -
Update........
Engineer phoned me, told him what was wrong and he talked me through pressing buttons and reset stuff. And now I have heat!
He's gonna come and have a look at it though soon as something is wrong with it somewhere to make it just give up like that!
Warmer nowBaby Ice arrived 17th April 2011. Tired.com! :j0 -
is it just me or are any other SW members a bit annoyed that they are not issued with the new plan but expected to pay another £3 for this , some existing memebers in my group have been attending for over a year so surely they have paid enough into SW huge profits to be given the plan for free, especially as weekly prices have increased apologies if i sound like a grumpy old woman haha
But the plan hasn't changed! The pack has changed it's look and the FO book has been revamped with EE at the front. There is a 7 day menu plan for EE and the Body Magic booklet has a new look - that's all the changes there are.
When Extra Easy came in last year, every member was given a booklet with the new plan in. Throughout the year there have always been changes in syn values, healthy extras etc and you can find the relevant info either online or in the magazine.
If you don't want the book, don't buy it, you won't be missing out as long as you keep an eye on up-to-date info from the website and magazine.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

Hmm, I wish Catt, the job pays well, but not that well.
Consultants get a percentage of the fees dependant on the number of members coming through the door on each given week.
The money for the pack does go back to SW (and I'm guessing £3 won't actually cover the costs of it). We have to buy the books to sell on but the Hi-Fi bars etc are SW stock and have to be accounted for each week. We share the cost of the venue with head office.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Oh........well sod that, it's hardly Extra Easy then is it?! I'm sticking to red and green days then from now on, I prefer them really anyway
It couldn't be much easier honestly. It's hard to change when you're a true-blue, die-hard fan of Original and Green, but once you get used to EE it's the perfect plan. Eating out is even easier, eating with the family...... well you just eat exactly the same as them.
Government guidelines indicate that for health, we should all be eating at least 5 portions of fruit and veg a day, so for a healthy you and for healthy children one third of your plate as veg is the way to go.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

I find my weight loss a bit slower on EE, I lose 1/2 lb a week as opposed to 1-2lbs, but its still a loss.
I prefer green days as I like my bread so I like those 2 extra healthy extras.
I do find making meal choices for the whole family that EE works better as oh likes his meat.
EE is well balanced and healthy, plus you are having 2 less HE, they add up to about 12 syns if you counted them that way, so you technically having 12 syns less each day that you would have on red and green.
Ill never understand how SW fully works. Especially when you know that pasta and eggs have so many cals. But I know I eat far healthier this way, and my treats are in moderation, so it works.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
i'm losing my mind. i had 2 satsumas, ate 1 and thought i'd have the other later but now i can't find it
??? i don't remember eating it!!! i'm hungry and the biscuit tin is looking appealing!

are the ryvita goodness bars still a HE?
I emailed the makers a couple of months ago as I hadn't seen them in the shops for a while. They said that they had stopped making them, which is a shame as I preferred them to the Alpen Lights and you could still have two for a HEB.0
