I'm wondering if there will be any announcements on the Body Optimise website, I haven't seen anything yet? They have the internet on computers now?! - Homer Simpson

is it just me or are any other SW members a bit annoyed that they are not issued with the new plan but expected to pay another £3 for this , some existing memebers in my group have been attending for over a year so surely they have paid enough into SW huge profits to be given the plan for free, especially as weekly prices have increased apologies if i sound like a grumpy old woman haha
have to admit I did think that too!0 -
Correct me if I'm wrong, but new plan doesn't sound all that anyway?
i.e. EE but superfree foods to be 1/3 of plate...?Nothing tastes as good as riding a horse feels0 -

Some are - but exsiting members have been doing EE for at least 4months as far as I know so the new books are entirely optional. It's the first time we've been given the opp for new books at New Year and £3 isn't a lot to pay. If you're happy with red/green then you don't need to buy the new pack.
The weekly payments go to your consultant (it's a franchise) to pay for Hi-Fi bars, books, room hire, te/coffee etc and I'm guessing the pack money will go back to SW.0 -

I know. I've promised myself I'll give it a go but I'm struggling to eat 1/3 at EVERY meal as per the book. My SWC says you don't HAVE to have it on the plate as long as you make it up with sf snacks (i.e. fruit/carrot sticks etc) but there's currrently an arguement going on in another forum that you can't actually do this and it has to be on the plate.
To be honest green/red should always be based around superfree foods anyway - this has been the plan since I started 6 years ago, but people tend to base them around free foods instead which isn't actually correct!0 -

I do mostly EE but try to get 2 green days in a week. I always try to have veg or salad with my main meal and I always have at least 2 pieces of fruit with a yogurt as my dessert at lunchtime.
The 1/3 plate thing does make sense, but I suppose it entirely depends on what meal you are having. For example curry and rice - you wouldn't really have salad or veg with it, but to make the meat go a bit further and allow me an extra portion to freeze, I often blitz up some carrot, swede, parsnip, sweetcorn, potato - adds the veg and bulks up the meal.
In my personal opinion, I think the EE plan allows you to have more balanced and 'normal' meals (sunday roast, curry and rice, lasagne) without the measuring, and it fits into family life a little easier. I've found it easy to follow and my loss has been consistent, but I suppose it is the same as the whole drink loads of water thing - with fruit, veg and salad, some include a lot, some don't. If Red and Green days work for you, stick to it. I never thought EE would work for me - on paper it didn't make sense, but I'm converted. :T0
