I doubt any ready meal would be syn free to be honest. Sugar free jelly is a staple in my cupboard as it makes a good sweet treat for a few days, as is yoghurt. Laughing Cow & Pagen Krisprolls are a good snack if you have HEx's left.

You can have 2 Alpen Light bars as a HEx (or 3 syns each). Frylight & quorn meatballs are always on my list from tesco as I can't get them anywhere else!

Thanks for all of your help guys.

The place we are eating at is just the local pub/restaurant and I dont think they deep fry the j pots but will double-check now. Looking at the menu I think its going to be the best option though. Any other typical pub meals I could opt for instead?

what about a pasta dish with tomato sauce? If your doing EE then you could have chicken in it. Pubs are hard as they mostly have pies etc. I would go for pasta if they do any or a gammon steak with egg and side salad. Steak with jacket potato and salad.

Ive done a massive shop in Asda today, as had completely run out since xmas and I was worried the snow would get worse. Asda had loads of good SW friendly deals. I got -

Extra lean steak mince roll back to £2 from £2.98 ( I got 3 packs)
Shape lasting satisfaction £1.00 for 4
Muller lights pack of 6 were on a deal but cant remember sorry
10 tins of John West tuna in brine for £5.00
    4 mugshots for £1.50
4 packs of Branston beans - 2 packs for £2
    Kerry's Lowlow cheese £1
Onken fat free strawberry (big tub) 62p
    Hovis wholemeal 400g loaf 2 for £1 (68p each)

With all that plus fruit and veg and stuff for the kids I managed to spend £93:eek::eek:
I usually spend £40 a week, hopefully this should do us for almost 3 weeks with only milk and bread to buy.

Hi all, I'm back! we moved home the week before Xmas and have had to wait until today broadband.

I let things go big time over the break and gained back all the weight I had lost and some.........(big slap on the wrist)

I've managed to lose 2lb this week though and feel confident I can get more weight off and this time, more importantly, keep it off. I weigh 10stone, 13lb which is far too much for someone only 4ft11!

Another good day for me today

Had my usual mullerlight yoghurt and banana for breakfast in work. I'll see what my consultant says in class tomorrow about whether they are still free or not.
I had the other half of the batchelors savoury rice from last night for my lunch
Grazed all day on apple and tangerine and some grapes.
had another banana on way home from work ready for the gym but turns out I cant go to gym as roads too icy and I probs wont get the car back out lol.
Not had tea yet but I am planning a jacket potato with extra light philly in and salad.

Also had my milk allowance in tea all day.

iceicebaby - according to mine they are still free. People were panicking as n the new book it says fat free flavoured yoghurt is 0.5syns per 100g - but it has said that in all the old books too so nothings changed!

Need to walk to the supermarket to get fruit tomorrow otherwise I'll never manage to do EE!
