I still often have marion's breakfast rice...cooked pudding rice (with water) and mixing a free yogurt and some fruit through it..
or sometimes I have porridge oats dry mixed with yogurt and leave it to sit for 10 mins to plump up.
I don't like breakfast cereals much as I always think 28g is measly and i always get hungry very quickly.0 -
What about breakfast quiche? Bacon, mushrooms, free sausages chopped into beaten egg & cooked in a quiche dish for 30mins? It's good hot or cold!
I tend to have a very quick beans & fried egg in the morning, or fruit salad with yoghurt poured over it.
Or cooked pudding rice mixed with a yoghurt - it's good cold too and you can mix in fruit to match the yoghurt.0 -
I have 4 stone to loose, lost 9 pound of that before Xmas but have out some of that back on over xmas (how much i will find out at WI on Weds!) have been pretty much eating what I wanted over xmas so today was the new start.
Well, today I have eaten the following
Muller light yoghurt and banana for breakfast
Home made beef stew for lunch
Another banana before I went to the gym
Curry flavour savoury rice for tea (the dried kind you boil) as I got home and didnt have time to make anything else.
Have had some tangerines througout the day.
went to the gym and did 10 mins recumbant bike, 10 mins jogging on treadmill, 10 mins crosstrainer, 10 mins upright bike
Also started to take the stairs in work instead of the lift.
So, a good start to the week.Baby Ice arrived 17th April 2011. Tired.com! :j0 -
I'm back from my WI after Xmas and I'm really happy because I only put on 2lb - I'm hoping I'll shift that fairly easily now I'm back on track.
I am away for the weekend though which makes things difficult but I'm with my partner so hopefully we can do some body magic0 -

personally I couldn't waste a HEb & HEa on cereal so haven't eaten it since I started SW 6 years ago!
Whereas I, on the other hand, would far rather have cereal than chocolate, and so spend both my HExs and syns on weetabix0 -
I have just seen in Sainburys they now do be good to yourself cottage cheese in yoghurt pots. Perfect to take to lunch at work, and if you only want one every now and then without eating the whole pot before it goes mouldy.0

Hello everyone and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I have been away for awhile in Lost the Plotville but did keep an eye on the forums in lurker mode:o Have had a few medical issues still being dealt with and just got so fed up with everything I returned to my old eating habits and put on a bit of weight - which of course made me feel even worse about myself!:o
Anyhoo I have had a good talk to myself and think I may be back on track. Going to give it a go anyway!
I gained 2 lbs over Christmas but lost 3 lbs over New Years (have no idea how that happened!) After my previous weight gains in November December my total loss now stands at 5 stone 2 pounds. Which means I had gained almost 2 stone in my loss of will power in Nov & Dec. That is a stone a month:eek::eek::eek: It seems even worse to see it written down:o
Wish me luck everyone and I promise to post more often and hopefully help anyone who needs it. I have bought the new syns directory and it is still in the new format so not very easy to find things in it but I will take it with me when shopping anyway.
Love to all

Hi Marion, great to see you back, I know youll shift that 2 stone no problem, did you not lose 9-10lbs in one week not so long ago? I know thats not healthy but if its mostly water then youll probably have a big loss at some point.
Hi to all the newbies and returners (is that a word) :hello:
Im having a red day today - brekkie 2 eggs and Bowyers sausages, I need to check if these are 1/2 a syn or 1 syn each.
