There isn't really a SW database of reciepes if you can't access the website, so it's easier to tell us what you like to eat & wee'll suggest SW ways of cooking it!0

Is there any way to get more of an idea re SW? I'm used to WW online where you can access quite a lot of things without joining to see if it suits. Unfortunately the local groups are totally unsuitable for me so I'm likely to have to join the lifeline online but its seems to be a 3 month subscription - my partner is the cook and he's a bit sceptical so I'd need to show him recipes etc for him to be onboard.
Are there SW forums on the main site?
There is a 7 day Extra Easy menu plan on the website http://www.slimmingworld.com/lifelineonline/features/feature_extra_easy_2010.asp
A good idea may be to buy the magazine too - there are always loads of recipes in there.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Changes to the plans aren't as scary as you may think. Though the Superfree foods list has been altered to just include fruit and veg, all the other things are still free....Quorn, Quark, eggs etc.
I think the main reason behind this change is that the EE plan gives you unlimited amounts of Original day and Green day foods together. The idea is to have a third of a plate of superfree foods with that, which, for your health, really needs to be fruit and/or veg. It's unlikely that you'd want to have Quorn or eggs with a EE dinner anyway, unless you were veggie, in which case you'd be having a Green dinner (if that makes sense).
Eggs etc will still be there as a free food on every plan.
We were told at the last meeting about Mullerlights and Pasta & Sauce quiches carrying syns in future, so I wonder if it's just not hit the syns online section yet. I'm sure there's no panic about doing it immediately, but it will be listed soon I have no doubt. Keep a weather eye on the magazine, that's where these things often become known first.
For those who are nervous of trying EE, don't be. It's brilliant and the weight losses in my group are very positive. You can have any Original or Green day free food in unlimited quantities on the same plate along with a third of a plate of superfree fruit and/or veg. Eat three times a day, snack on superfree foods for the best weight loss. Still have 1 HEA and 1 HEB every day (weighed or measured) and your 15 syns. If the synned item you want has two different values for Original or Green day, you automatically choose the LOWEST value - simples
ETA: you will find yoghurts listed in the syn section of your new FO book as ½ syns each for the fat-free fruity ones (ie; Mullerlights and the like). Only the fat-free natural yogs are syn-free.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Well I'm going to do EE but just base every meal around superfree foods - so lots of veg, fruit & salads so that I make sure I get it right. Looks like no more pasta & baked bean lunches for me
Any flavoured cous cous's that are free pls? Trying to think of interesting things to throw into a salad!0 -
Hi all, I have done SW in the past and am going to try doing from home as DD is away at uni so money tight. Does anyone know the syn value for Asda smartprice Ravioli on EE would have with a side salad and some fruit

Well it's still to be confirmed either by the website or the magazine though consultant on here has been to the meeting. I'm hoping that maybe some other fruit yoghurt might be free - if not then fat free natural yoghurt will be free & we add our own fruit :rolleyes:0
