My favourite yoghurts are the Shape lasting satisfaction. They are very filling and tasty. I can always find them on offer, at the moment they are £1 for 4 at Tesco. Im not all that keen on Muller lights anymore, I think ive eaten too many, and I now prefer the thicker Shape ones. I buy the odd Muller to make a dessert with them.

Im just done with the Beef stew, It was gorgeous.I added Tesco Lighter living sausages. 0.5 syns each. These were very tasty and worth it. I also added lentils to thicken it, so Ive loads left for the freezer. And oh is off home with his portion.:j

Thank you for the yoghurt suggestions - I am getting a Tesco delivery on Tuesday so have been looking at theirs today.

There's a 6pk of traditional flavours for £1 which I think are 2.5 syns each and a 4pk for 29p! which I think are 2.5 syns each except for the black cherry. Please double check any syn values I give!

They're not free and I don't know how nice they are but I thought I'd give them a go first.

larmy16 - I am also very confused about whether 100g = 100mls! Can anyone explain?

Hope everybody had a good day.
August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.

100 gms = 100mls :D (well water is anyway - dry mass to liquid measure doesn't convert well!)

Nic, I'd LOVE to have lost 2st by then but am struggling (already) and yes, I'm going to say !!!! IT and eat what I want on that one day because my theory is I'm not going to have a two week run-up taste session and carry on righ until my Birthday (end of Feb!) :D (Plus my stomach has shrunk and I can barely finish a normal dinner let alone turkey, trimmings and all the extra's for 15 hours!)

Are you going to be good and go SW or say to heck with as it only comes 1 day a year.
I would love to hear all your ideas.:snow_laug

Thanks Catt, and sorry your answer is now above my post, i deleted it by mistake.

Im also aiming for 2 stone by xmas, I know I can easily lose the first stone in 4 weeks if I stick to plan. Id be happy with 1 1/2 stone.
I think im also going to say stuff it and have whatever I want on the day. Last year was different as we were cooking, so we made Free pate with heb toast, free xmas dinner heb tatties and synned the mini cheesecakes for pud. But this years its at my mum and dads. My mum makes enough to fee 30! Ive offered to make the pate again as it was a big hit so I can squeeze one SW friendly course in there. The meal it self wont be too bad if I have loads of turkey and veg, but mum puts loads of butter in the mash and makes real stuffing, pigs in blankets and goose fat roasties (god my mouths watering now!)
After pudding, theres usually cheese and crackers, coffee and after eights then later crisps and dips!!!

I figure that if im very good in the week running up and be very good again on boxing day I can apply damage limiatation.
But if most of you guys are going to be good and have some yummy ideas I might try a bit harder to stick to plan on xmas day.

LOL, thought it was me answering your question before you posted!

What's the pate made from? Would like the recipe - I miss thickly spread brussels pate on thick white toast! (Can you tell that it's how I became thick around the middle?! :rotfl: )

I currently weigh 10 stone 8, far too heavy for my tiny frame (I'm only 4ft 11!)

I'd love to be 10 stone by my birthday in 5 weeks time, is that doable? providing of course I stick to plan and don't lose the plot like I did this weekend?

8 lbs in 5 weeks - it is doable certainly though you'd pretty much have to be 100%! Sometimes I think for a small period out of your life you CAN do it (yes, I know I can't take my own advice!) Go for it Liz3yy - we're all here to support you!
You've got the same problem as me - for your weight you should be my height, for my weight I should be 8ft 9"! ;) :rotfl:

I also lurve pate yum. This recipe is from a wee Love food booklet our consultant said wee could take as she had loads, so not sure when they were origionaly from.
I thought it was free but its 1 syn on Original and EE. Its the brandy that gives you the syn, so if you omit that its free.
    Serves 6
ready in 30 mins, plus cooling

    1 onion
    2 garlic cloves
    4oz/113g bacon
    4oz/113g closed cap mushrooms
    14 oz/397g chicken livers
a small handful of fresh parsley.
3floz/85ml stock made with chicken bovril
    2tbsp/30ml brandy
    salt and pepper to season
    4oz/113g quark

    1. Prepare the ingredients; finely chop the onion, crush the garlic, remove all visable fat from bacon and dice, chop the mushrooms, chicken livers and parsley.

2.Place the onion, garlic and stock in a pan and cook for about 5 minutes, or until the onion is soft. Add the bacon and mushrooms and cook for a further 5 minutes, stirring constantly, until lightly browned.

    3. Add the chicken livers, parsley and brandy and simmer, stirring occasionally for 10 minutes. Season well, then set aside to cool.

    4. When cool, transfer the mixture to a food processor, add the quark and blend until smooth. Divide between 6 remekins and chill until needed.

It is really yummy on toast and I think tastes great with the brandy in it. It gives it more depth.
