I have 8 chicken breasts (for 8 of us) and am in desperate need of inspiration. Nothing too spicy as some of the kids aren't keen. Any ideas? Please?thanks xx

The thing is I do prefer green days - I love noodles and rice and pasta but if I want to get going a bit on the weight loss I am better having red days as I do end up eating less. If my motivation slips a bit I go back to green - for me more comforting - days!
The evening of red days can be a bit of a problem but I always get fruit and a low fat yogurt (I love banana and vanilla Mullerlite as a snack but I don't buy Mullerlites very often - too expensive!). Then I use a bit of willpower and remember I'll be pleased with myself in the morning if I've had another good day!
I really have not got my head around extra easy..I'll go and have a read.August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.0 -

morning all
can anyone tell me how many syns i might have had last night?! i had a small ham and pineapple pizza from a takeaway, ate about half and the topping off the other half! plus a couple of large glasses of wine...oops! it wouldn't be so bad but i didn't really enjoy the pizza!
i wanted to have a few good days until weigh in monday night but i've started the day with a glass of orange (7 syns!) so it restricts me a bit for the rest of the day! i think i may go extra easy and have
Breakfast: nonenot like me, usually my favourite meal of the day! its gone 11 and i'm off for lunch at 12 so not much point now!
Lunch: Jacket with beans
Tea: Spaghetti Bolognaise (just syns in tom puree and some in mince as not extra lean?) and i'll have brown pasta
Snacks: Alpen lights (HEB)
Drinks: Water, Tea (milk HEA) and sugar free squash
Hopefully that will get me back on track!
Tomorrow is going to be harder as i'm at college (on a sunday!!) and its tempting to but lunch but i'll have to get organised and make some pasta to take and stock up on fruit!
I really want to lose the 1.5lbs i put on last week and hope i didn't jeprodise it last night!

Afternoon all,
I've had a rubbish start to the day, for some reason I couldn't get going. I've been incredibly sleepy and thirsty (I know there's nothing wrong with me as I had blood tests done last week and they came back normal) I guess it's just one of those days....!
Anyway I gave myself a kick up the bum and have been eating pretty well I think.
Breakfast - HE portion of cereal and mullerlight
Lunch - Jacket spud with cheese and beans and salad at the pub
Dinner - ???? don't know yet as lunch was so massive that I'm totally stuffed, though will be something green, pasta or maybe SW chips
As for syns, I reckon I've had my 15 for the day already as the jacket spud in the pub had a tonne of cheese on it, far more than a HE portion I would say, plus we had a coffee and home made chocolate brownie in a local cafe, sooo yum!

Try putting slice of cheese (my recipe sez low-fat mozzarella) on top of each and casseroling them in a couple of tins of whizzed-up tomatoes with onions. You can experiment with different cheese and put as much spice in tomato sauce as you like. I like to fry the onions with garlic first in a bit of fry-light. Remember to count the cheese in any case!
ooh that sounds wonderful! I might try that tomorrow evening as we have chicken breasts in the freezer I got on offer this weekendThey have the internet on computers now?! - Homer Simpson

Hi Laura,
Well a large glass of wine is 6 syns so if you had two, that's 12 syns
As for the pizza, they are high in syns, which is a shame! As a result, I would say pizza is the thing I most miss on slimming world, although I have made my own SW pizza - it's not the same though!
A small cheese and tomato from dominoes for example is around the 60 syn mark so if you ate half that's 30 syns and I think you need to guess how much the toppings are from the second half you ate (depends on what you mean - did you eat the cheese off it too?)
I flexi-synned one week that I ate a pizza (small) and I kept my weekly allowance right and still lost 2 pounds...I was thrilled and surprised but it wasn't really worth it in terms of the worry and guilt!
I'm not in a position to judge - I've had four days away this week where I ate and drank whatever I fancied (first time I've done this since starting SW and I'm normally a 100% girl!) I dread to think how many syns I had! At least you're thinking about it and trying to sort it out. Good luck!0 -
I was tempted by cheese and biscuits this evening but I resisted and had home made soup and wholemeal bread for dinner instead. I feel so proud of myself!
We're having a day out tomorrow and fancy Nandos for lunch, if I have a quarter chicken, salad and sweetcorn will that be ok for a red day? They have the internet on computers now?! - Homer Simpson
