Well can't belive its friday already the week has flown by, Work this morning and spent 50p on a poppy, then left car at work and walked to tesco for some butter and dog food only spent £2.51, decided will do that more often as only buy what i need when i need to walk, was also very good as i had to walk past chip shop on the way to and way back from Tesco but was really good and did'nt buy some, had a few oven chips when i got home, not as nice as chippy chips but i was craving chips.

Scratchies done 25p and 10p today and no bingo win again:(.

Going to a dreaded school function tonight, can't get out of this one i've tried and the kiddies really want to go, but have told oh he has to come with me and not leave me with the witches covern:rotfl:, i will no doubt end up spending a fortune.

Have decided its to wet and cold to go to fireworks display tonight, MIL has bought a small box of fireworks for us to let off in the garden and wil have sparklers to, kiddies are happy with this, its probably for the best as they are really tired from going out last night.

Dug out the tightwad gazette today and have started rereading it, getting me back into the frugal lifestyle, so far i have filled up soap dispensers with dodgy shower gel that i had been given as a present, turned off central heating and lit fire in the living room and put clothes on the airer, we are going to need some more logs soon, but we get these free anyway just have to go and get them from a farmer friends wood and chop them up,cart them home and stack them.

Have also baked a chocolate cake today and made some garlicky roasted veg soup from some dodgy veg in the bottom of the fridge, tastes yummy.

Recieved a email from sainsburys with a code for £10 off a £50 grocery shop so have placed an order for next week, ordered a few christmas bits as well, couple of presents, christmas crackers, biscuit and choccies for tree:D came to £44.

    Hi Miemie :hello:
Just found your diary - bless you! You sound like you're a great parent. It's certainly never easy no matter how much money you have - that is the great leveller - even rich people find parenting hard!

It's a shame that more people don't think like you and maybe more of us would not be in debt.
Enjoy your fireworks and have a good evening - the food sounds yummy ;) x

Hi magirl and thankyou your kind words mean a lot.

Today ds has a birthday party to go to at a wacky warehouse place, its not worth coming home and going back again, so going to treat dd and oh to lunch at the pub.

Scratchies done 10p,10p and 25p and once again no win on bingo.

Had a yummy lunch yesterday,i rather pigged out on 3 course:o, but i was so stuffed that did'nt want any tea last night.

Had a good morning at work and remembered to take a snack with me, nipped to tesco on way home and spent £4.49 on bedding for rabbit, choc coins to go away for kiddies stocking, marshmallows to toast on the fire one evening and glue to fix dd favourite egg cup, its a rabbit and i knocked the ears off yesterday morning:eek: when i was washing it, so quickly hid in back of cupboard, hope i can fix it otherwise i will be the worst mummy in the world.

scratchies done 10p and 10p and the reoccuring theme of no win on BB:mad:.

Just going to finish lunch, yummy HM roasted veg soup with a dodgy looking naan bread i found in the back of the freezer, then tidy dd room as her friend is coming to play, also dd and ds have there swimming lessons this evening, so a busy evening planned.
