Hi Mac, i can't believe how many parties they have this month:eek: and i havn't included my sister and mum in laws birthday, gonna be an expensive month.

Not much to report really, had another busy day at work yesterday, but at least the overtime will come in handy.

Made yummy meatballs in tomato and garlicky sauce last night, i stuffed them with mozzerrella for a change and they were sooooo goooood:D and dd helped make the sauce and chopped up all the veggies, bless her she really loves helping in the kitchen and it gave me a chance to have a chat with her which was nice, did find out that a boy at school has been pulling her hair and pushing her over, so might need to have a word with her teacher. This said child is well known for being a general little sh*t, but the mother believes him to be such a little angel and its never his fault, i was walking out of school behind her on Monday and this child was kicking her and trying to bite her:eek: and she said nothing to him as if it was normal behaviour, so its not really the childs fault that he behaves how he does.

On the Money front i spent £3 yesterday on stamps and choccy, that creme egg was calling to me and £3.75 for 5 weeks of work teas. Need to pay for school dinners today and hopefully that is it for today.

Oh God, these creme eggs have a lot to answer for - they know my name too! LOL

Love the sound of your meatballs stuffed with mozarella - I do the plain ones but might pinch your idea. Hope OH's birthday went well and he enjoyed his steak and cake.

Hi Primula, been good and not had a creme egg since Friday:D.

Yesterday i popped into a local charity shop and spent £11, bought loads of books for myself and kiddies and also bought a brand new DVD player for £6, this is brill as a couple of weeks ago ds managed to break ours, so was very pleased, it was still in its box and they gave me a certificate to say it had been tested to make sure it was safe:D.

Today i've been busy cooking, have made leek and potato soup, cottage pie, bread and chocolate fairy cakes, just need to make a syrup sponge for pud tonight and that will be me done for today.

    Drool..............You are a Domestic Goddess Miemie! :A

Sorry to hear about DD :(. My own was pushed over in the playground last year by an older boy. She's only little too. Her face was a real mess, she had a massive graze from above her eye, right down her cheek.

It's very hard when you're not there to protect them isn't it?

Stay away from the Creme Eggs - they are lethal ;)

OMG can't believe its been so long since i last posted. Thanks for posting chops.

I've been so busy recently with work and family, don't feel like i've had a minute to spare, everything is ok here, money is a little tight but thats nothing new.

I'm currently full of cold and feeling pretty shi**y, not really been looking after myself, not eating properly, not sleeping to well either, so think its all caught up with me:(. Only 1 week to go until our weekend away and i think we really need it, hubby has'nt had a day off since begining of Feb and feel like we are drifting apart,as we are not really seing each other.

So i need to get my backside into gear and get back into posting, had a good week this week, made £30 at a nearly new sale on Sunday and got another huge box of washing powder to test yesterdy:j.

Hi Miemie - nice to see you back.
Yep, we have passing ships here too. We're always trying to squeeze in important conversations, only to be told by our 3 year old that we need to stop talking.......

We went out for a bite to eat last night and sat there saying nothing! I think we were overcome with the novelty, that we got stage fright!

Hope you are looking after yourself and will be feeling better soon x

Nice to see you back posting. Life is just so hectic but definitely try to make some time for yourself (note to self: take your own advice on board - LOL)

Enjoy your break away. Where are you off to?
