That's a good idea Miemie. We've just got a tumble dryer, after years of me resisting as I know they are the worst appliances for the environment and I wanted to do my bit.
However, now I have one - how did I ever live without it?! BUT - I am dreading the increase on the leccy bill  I might do the same.
Have a good week x0 -
Hi Mac i also have a tumble and would be lost without, should try and use it less though.
Todays spends are £20 milkman, thats for the past 2 weeks and we ordered loads of milk, cream and eggs over christmas. Also spent £6 in village shop on bread and cheese as we had friends over for lunch and the kiddies wanted cheease on toast, also needed to buy extra milk as i have made a rice pud today and forgot to order extra from milkman.
Need to sort out my work bag put my work clothes out and sort school uniform and pe bags ready for kiddies for school tomorrow.0 -

Morning, well i should be at work now but the school i work at has been closed due to the snow:j, i was very excited at the prospect of a day to myself, but 5 mins after i got that phone call i got another to tell me that the kiddies school was shut as well:rolleyes:. World war 3 has erupted in my house as they have spent too much time together over the hols and are fighting and arguing over everything, both have just been sent to rooms after falling out over a glue stick even though there are 2
.
On the money front have done scratchies 10p & 10p and child benefit has been paid into account £132, posted has just brought CC bill and its not a pretty sight just over £800, i think i'm going to go and look at transfering that balance and also better start ebaying to pay it off.
Going to go and make cottage pie and maybe some cakes if i can be bothered.0 -
Ha Ha, that sounds like my house Miemie!
I'm home due to the snow too :j DD's school is open though, so I hope to get some work some before I go and collect her and little DD from nursery.
Enjoy the snow0 -
Both said sorry, so wrapped them up sent them into the back garden to build a snowman and they have started fighting again:mad:.0

Another snowy day and i'm off work and kiddies off school as their school is closed, anyone else staring to get a bit bored of it, ended up taking the dog for a walk at 8pm last night just needed to get out on my own, without squabbling kids, was really nice, no one about and the snow looked lovely.
Not much change regarding money, NSD today as i'm refusing to go anywhere, 10p and 10p on scratchies and have done a survey for £1.20, also recieved £1.32 from quidco.
I really should look some things out to put onto eBay since i'm not at work but really can't be bothered.
I have made a Apple crumble for pud tonight, we are also having sweet and sour chicken.
Ok off to hunt some things out for eBay.0 -
Managed to list 5 things and already have 1 bid and a few watchers:D.0
