    :DHi Primula and welcome aboard.

Hi Mac, might look into that sainsburys cc, i have a good credit rating so don't see why i wouldn't be accepted.

Yes the vouchers are fab and its hubby birthday in Feb so might try to get him to mention to family that they would be a good idea for birthday pressie as well:D.

Having a nice lazy day at home today, have made some bottom of the fridge soup and very yummy it is to, we will be having that for lunch.
Managed to get most of the washing done just have a huge pile of ironing to do now, going to try and get that done and put away today, as i have decided that i'm taking all the christmas decs down tommorow and having a good dust/clean ready for the New year.

We are staying in tonight as we havn't got a babysitter and have lots of wine left over from christmas that family brought so we will be drinking that:D, tastes better when its free.

Recieved 2x £10 shell vouchers that were mean't to be sent out with my bzz pack a few weeks ago, so will use them next week:D.

Not much going on with money saving, 20p and 25p from free scratchies and thats it so far today.

Kiddies are still in their pj's and have decided that they don't want to get dressed, have decided to leave them as we are not going anywhere and it would just mean another pile of clothes to wash and i'm quite liking the wash basket being empty;).

    HAPPY NEW YEAR

    Hi snowdonlily and welcome.

Not much going on at the moment and tobe honest i'm looking forward to getting back to work and kiddies back to school, feel as though i need to get back into a routine.

I took all the decs down yesterday and gave the front room a good clean and tidued both kiddies bedrooms, but house still seems untidy, loads of bits hanging around with no real home, think i might have a look over at flylady, see if i can get some motivation/ideas from there.

Scratchies done £1 and 10p. might have a search round for things for eBay, but think i will probably do better waiting until the end of Jan when peeps have some money to spend.

Going to get DD and DS to make thankyou cards today and then i can get them posted before we go back to work/school as i will forget to do them then.

Need to go to Tesco as i need potatoes, having JKT spuds tonight, need to use up some coleslaw and cheese.

    To DO list:
    wash hubbies work clothes.
    wash DD & DS bedding
    make thankyou cards
    clean out 1 kitchen cupboard.
make t- towels from fabric remnent found yesterday.

Ended up sending OH to Tesco and he was very good and stuck to the list:D, he even remembered to use the £1 coupon i sent him with, Big box of surf washing powder is on offer for £5 and told him to use the coupon only with that offer and to buy nothing else if they had none left. So £9.64 spent.

Have won a pair jodhpurs on eBay for dd, they are used but can't grumble at 99p when they are about £20 new and she only gets them !!!!!! up anyway.

DD and DS still havn't made thankyou cards they decided to make some plaster figures that they got for christmas and are busy painting them at the moment, must get cards done tommorrow.

So some people are buying on Ebay?! Good 'cos I've relisted a few things today ;)
I've just re-subscribed to Flylady, so good luck with that. I first did it when on Mat leave a few years ago and some of the routines have definitely stuck. Like you though, I have more things, than I have homes for them

You've got OH well trained with the shopping! That's great getting jodphurs on Ebay, and like you say, I'm sure they will be fine. Quite chuffed with myself today, struggle with food wastage but tonight just put on enough that we would use rather than extra this that the and other and it was absolutely fine.

    Gosh its so cold today.
Had a yummy brekkie of poached eggs, grilled bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes and toast and then was really good and went for a nice long family walk. Been very organised and peeled all veggies and made yorky pudding batter for tea, eating left over beef from the roast on new years day, not making a pud as we have christmas cake and mince pies that need eating up.

Had a nsd today which is good and have done scratchies - 20p and 25p.

not much else happening today, just lots of cleaning.

    Happy new year chops.

Have just entered meter readings online for gas and electric, decided i'm going to do this weekly to keep an eye on what we are using, so this week we have used £15.70 in electric and £8.37 in Gas, hopefully next weeks will be less as we are back to work and school on Tuesday, we are also £140 in credit and next DD payment goes out on the 10th.

Have also meal planned for the week:
Mon- garlic chicken, jkt and veg
    Tue-cottage pie and veg.
Wed- HM Sweet and sour chick with noodles.
Thurs- meat and potato pie, pies and gravy.
Fri- HM soup and HM bread.
Sat chicken and mushroom pasta bake.
sun- Rst pork, rst pots and veg.

Puddings will be left over mince pies, christmas cake and ice cream from christmas. Also have tuna, cheese for sandwiches for childrens lunch boxes and loads of cereal in for brekkies also have teacakes &crumpets in freezer so should be sorted for this week and won't need to do any shoppng until Saturday.
