Will be googling recipes for feta in a bit as oh gave me a huge catering sized pack of it - so thanks for the lamb idea, very timely!
Lucky you with the feta I am very envious :T I usually bring some back from Greece when we are there but it never lasts long enough. Would love one of the large tins full I see when in Greece but can't bring that back on plane!
I always add some feta to my roasted veggies too along with some sweet balsamic, very yummy and of course Greek salad0 -
Hello NGC'ers!
I think I'm doing pretty well so far.. NSD for me today & Monday. DBF has spent on 2 newspapers (I can live with this!) and two tins of shortbread biscuits from M&S for £3 each, so far this week!! Bargain xmas pressies.
I managed to bake Twinks hobnobs last night... oh my god... these were AMAZING! (Is it safe to eat the mixture raw??)
I have meals planned for the rest of the week, so all seems to be going according to the plan. I need to find time to make some meals for the freezer, but atm, this isn't urgent!
All of your updates are really inspiring me. Thank youTrying hard to money save....0 -
Blimey - this thread's already 13 pages long!!! I was planning on reading it all, but don't have time for all that lot!
Anyway, could I be put down for a budget of £350 again please, and will really try hard this month to come in well below it. I haven't spent anything on groceries so far, which is a good start! :-)I'm broke, not poor. Poor sounds permanent, broke can be fixed. (Thoroughly Modern Millie)

Spent another £8.52 in the co op this morning as had run out of a few more things! I am going to try and make it the only visit to the co op this week as it is sooo expensive! Off to update signature!November NSD's - 70

Well, I did my first spend of the month yesterday. A total of £20.80 between Tesco and Lidl. It was mostly fruit and veg, but I also stocked up on tesco's diet cola with almond as I used to drink it years ago but it disappeared from the shelves only to reappear last week. It's really nice - a lot like Dr Pepper, and I am also trying to find a cheap diet pepsi/coke that tastes nice! Tried the Lidl Freeway 0% and it is an acceptable alternative, and it's only about 40p!
I'm taking the boys to the orthodontist after school and it's near Morrisons so I will have a look for bargains in there today. I really don't need much so I don't feel like I'll be tempted too much (famous last words...)
It's only a game

Hi, Can you put me down for £200 for November please?
I am almost out of food this month so I am going to put in an order to MrA for home delivery and try to get by until then on what we have in the house/garden. I don't have much in my freezer either so it will be a frugal few days. Tuna supreme tonight.
This month hasn't been a good start as I haven't written my menu plan yet and I tend to be more extravagent with food when I haven't planned carefully.
Change of plan already. We are going to go to Aldi and Mr T this afternoon. Now I have to get my act together and write that plan quickly.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

On my third day of my first ever GC and it's really making me think about what I'm spending and notice it much more. Thanks for all the posts, v inspiring. I have spent £7.56 in Sainsbury's so far and not had an NSD but I did make sure I met a friend for coffee instead of lunch yesterday and chose a regular instead of a large. It all adds up0

Ooh sounds good, where can I find the recipe? I did have a quick scan of the ones on Page 1 but couldn't see it.
