    Good evening

Here are my pleasures for today:

1 - Got up in good time and made DH breakfast and packed lunch, it feels good to care for my dear ones.

2 - Zumba class at noon, very nice and also free because included in my gym membership.

3 - Lovely lunch with DD and DS, feta and spinach omelette and mixed salad, nice and healthy.

4 - DD's BF accompanied me by car to stock up on heavy stuff at the supermarket (my trolley is, alas, gone to trolley heaven and I haven't yet replaced it).

5 - Decided not to go to the sewing taster class after all and spend time at home with DH instead, as I shall be out tomorrow night.

6 - The rain has stopped!

7 - First day of summer today.

    Good night everybody x
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

    1. Have spoken to OH a billion times on the phone today and popped over for a natter with DD and what felt like a cast of thousands at times, and think we're sorted out now, I'm feeling very low at the moment and whilst he has annoyed me immensely this week, I've ranted at him and he knows and has been very calm and lovely..........phew! At one point this afternoon I nearly finished with him, but held myself back as I'm pretty sure a couple of good nights' sleep and rereading some of my counselling notes will sort me out.
    2. NSD - phew! much needed
    3. I had enough energy to tidy up my room quite a bit today, it was a bit like one of Mr Trebus' rooms up there, all clean clothes but just everywhere!! Naughty Kittikins.....
    4. Builder showed up and I've worked out what and where things need doing...
    5. I had some great news this afternoon - one of my lovely friends has messaged me to tell me she's pregnant :) Can't wait to be 'Aunty Kittikins' to another cute baby and DD is really thrilled too - hopefully it'll take the heat off me and OH to give her a baby sister; we're thinking of a real life kitten instead as babies are not on our agenda due to his illness, our ages, financial situation etc etc.

I must make sure I get a reasonably early night tonight, and do some more studying.

Florenceem Welcome, do join in, think of the Old Style things you do in a day and let us know what makes you happy.

    My pleasures today:-

    1. Re-arranging my fridge by removing a small half shelf. This has enabled me to get a second 4 pint milk in each week so that I don't have to buy the 1pints because they went in the freezer. By getting my milk from Mr. A @ £1 per 4 pints, I will make a weekly saving of 92p. It won't make me rich but I felt so happy with my re-arranged fridge. Maybe a need to get a life.

    2. Making two Rhubarb and Strawberry pies and freezing them away for my next two lots of Sunday visitors.

    3. Picking the salad from the garden before the rain came.

    4. Visiting my 92year old aunt. She's my last link with my roots and very precious to me.

    5. Lovely kidney and mushroom casserole waiting for us in the slow cooker when we got home.

    Bella.

Took a flask to Uni, and saved £4 from not buying coffees, how had that one passed me by?
DS likes his new haircut, and it was £10 less than the old place we used to go to.

    Pleasures for today;
    1. Early start as needed to get the train to portsmouth but took breakfast with me to eat on the way.

Well, things haven't been great today andsomeone has been very rough with thespace bar on this laptop so excuse any joined upwords!

    1) Smaller son's SEN review at school. Not very enlightening but at least he hasn't got any new problems!

    2) Went to Sainsburys without children. Always good but thinking half way round about all the things that are going wrong (esp with MrN) andhaving to hide in the car to cry was not such a goodthing. :-(

    3) Made a tasty tea - kebabs madefrom Sainsburys basics pork squares, peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms and cubesof pineapple. And cous cous and brocolli. Then did raspberries, meringues and double cream.

    4) Smaller son did some more good reading.

    5) Playedthe piano fora while.

    That's aboutit!
