    2. We were very late going to a rather nice little town to do some shopping, which meant -

    3. It was too late to come back for lunch so we bought it in a quirky little restaurant.

    4. Strawberries reduce to 50p in Mr. A.

    5. A Mr. Sainsbury's basics ice cream cornet when we got back home.

    My Tuesday Pleasures:

1 - Now this one might seem silly but I was pleased I was sore today as it was hospital day and I didn't feel the specialist understood enough last time but she definitely did today. Am back again in 2 weeks so hoping this is the start of some improvements.

2 - Got a lovely long letter from a friend I haven't heard from in a few months, was very happy reading that.

3 - Lots of kind get well messages from friends today.

4 - My dad is up for work so he is staying with us tonight. It's only a night but as I don't see my parents all that often it is great.

5 - My lovely dad also treated DH and I to a Wagamamas meal. Nom nom!

    5 for today (Tuesday).

    1) Phoned Dr who can refer bigger son for his scan without actually having to see him. So that saved us an appointment.

    2) Last free day for a long time so I went into town for a look round.

    3) Lots of texts from MrN. :-)

    4) Smaller son did his reading for me tonight and he is improving all the time.

    5) Sister came round with some admin for me to do and said her friend (incredibly stylish) says she saw me the other day and she and sister had a conversation about my age and the friend thinks I look about 30. :-O :-)

    6) Treacle tart for pudding.

    Evening :)

    My five pleasures for Tuesday:

    1. Doing lots of reading for work this morning while waiting in the car (for hours) for the DSs. The sun was shining and I had the door open and the breeze was lovely.

    2. Fitting everything we had to take into my dad's car - it was a huge amount of stuff. The garage said my car should be fixed by Thursday which is great because it's much more economical on fuel although I'm so grateful I can borrow one in the interim.

    3. Picnicing on hot drinks (thermos) and cake (HM) at teatime (in the car again!).

    4. Getting a good, useful veggiebox today with nothing peculiar or challenging to have to cook this week so the meal planning will be easy.

    5. Watching some very funny and charming sports films from 80-100 years ago on Youtube with the DSs.

    Sweet dreams

Hello all, tried and failed to post yesterday as my modem went funny losing a long post :(

I'll try and remember the good things about yesterday..........

    1. OH seems to have forgotten that he was being snotty with me, taking it as a pleasure even though I think we need to talk about it still
    2. Saw the physio who has kindly given me some new exercises to do in the pool and was quietly pleased with my progress (I think!)
    3. After making lots of frustrating phone calls to the hospital to chase up my consultant appointment and going from pillar to post and getting depressed that I seem to have been lost in the system as they had no record of me.....I got home and there was a letter from the hospital inviting me to an appointment with the head honcho himself!! Thank goodness :)
    4. Pleased that I'll be seen by the consultant in only 7 weeks, given that I was told he had a huge waiting list, I'm pleased he's got space to fit me in
    5. Bought LOTS of baked beans on the bogof offer in Te$co and paid using luncheon vouchers, I spent 25p of my own money, hoorah! Definitely won't need any beans for a very long time as I was only just getting near the summit of baked bean mountain from the offer they had in the new year
