    Evening

Frith - Glad you had a better day today :)

    Pleasures for today
    1. Posting early as going out to dinner with OH as we have been together 19 years today:eek:. Only going to Nandos and are using LV but thats all good for me.
    2. Walked home from work today which was good to clear my head after a day in the office
    3. Good day for freebies received a voucher for a hair dye and a little tin and packet of almonds. DD loves almonds so great for her lunch box.
    4. Had a chat with my mum today and things have thawed quite a bit between us. She now has proof that my auntie was not telling the whole truth and can see why I was so angry
    5. Friend giving me a chocolate biscuit at work :D

Hugs to all who need them or just want one

1 Had a lovely daytrip using half-price train ticket.Toiled up a mountain and was rewarded with stunning views of the Alps (and slight sunburn).

2 Did a load of housework yesterday.Prefered to come home today to a clean and tidy house.

3 First day back at work not too traumatic.

4 Used up some very sad looking vegetables to make a curry.

    5 NSD today and yesterday.

Frith pleased for you that things are better.

    Kittikins OH!!!!!

Wishing you all a relaxing evening x

    Hi All,

Just zipping in to post some pleasures to see the positives in a difficult day.........

    1. Spoke to a swimming mummy friend that I haven't seen in ages. Made a resolution to meet up during Easter hols.

    2. DD chatty on the way to and from swimming. Difficult to encourage conversation at thet time of the morning usually!! :rotfl:

    3. Colleague who was taken ill on Friday has improved and will move back to local hospital today. :j

    4. Afternoon lessons much more successful than morning ones where I seem to have upset someone in every lesson. :o

    5. One very upset boy had a much better afternoon. :A

    6. Doggie insisted on a cuddle as I got in from work. Sometimes I think she can just sense you need a hug! :A

Have a lovely evening. Missing you all. HE x

    1. I had a lovely time looking at blossom on the trees whilst walking out at lunchtime today
    2. NSD :) (well, paid the babysitter but that was like a direct debit in my mind)
    3. College finished early tonight so I saved £5 on babysitting costs, hoorah!!
    4. Leftovers for lunch and dinner were scrumptious :)
    5. Popped to the library at lunchtime to pick up a book I'd reserved, thinking that I'd need to pay the 50p reservation fee, but apparently I'd already paid it, hoorah!! It looks really good
    6. College test tonight was horrendous so I'm really hugely amazingly pleased that I got such a spectacular mark on the first test, so that mark rather than whatever rubbish I get tonight, will go forward to the exam board.....thank goodness!
    7. Got 2 loads of washing out on the line and dry today :)
    8. chatting to 2 lovely friends on MSN at the moment, gawd bless the internet!!

    hi everyone.

Carolyntia - poor you!! My utter sympathy about your car. they are such money pits aren't they.

Frith - congratulations on finally being confirmed as debt free. What a relief! Things can only get better.

    Tealady - Happy anniversary

    1) Cuddles with my 4 day old nephew. He's a real little sweetie... though true to form he threw up on me... it was the first time he's thrown up... typical!

    2) Raised about £30 in my mini cake sale at work.

    3) Had a really good chat with our PR Director about some of mutual frustrations.

    4) One of our front line staff emailed saying something that she really shouldn't have... I went to get her the information she required and the person I had to speak to said that she was really lucky as it was me she emailed as most people wouldn't be quite so understanding. Its so weird as I think of myself as being grumpy and miserable but clearly I hide it well.

    5) Dinner with my brother and FSIL. We had a takeaway (which I never have) which was a treat... even though my curry was a tad spicy!

    Night all - sleep tight.

    Man plans and God laughs...
Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.
