Evening, everyone. Thought I'd pop back to add my pleasures today:
1. Spending the day with MiL. It was really nice chatting about food and other things.
2. Made a lovely meatball and pasta dish for lunch, and it was really well received.
3. Did a bit more digging in the garden. Sadly got a lot of ivy roots to try and remove - hard work!
4. The smell of the air after a downpour. It's beautiful.
5. Feeling rested!
Have a nice evening, everyone.

Nice quiet weekend here in Yorkshire, here are mine for today -
1. HM lasagne in the oven for tea with LO for tomm lunch for both of us
2. Teeny tiny mixed leaf shoots of lettuce coming through on the balcony
3. Got some YS dover sole at Mr T's reduced from £7.50 to £1.50 (loads of fillets)
4. Nice chat with my Mam for Mothers day this morning. Also spoke to my sister which was good.
5. Found one of OH's writing workshop books that I can randomly use at work with some of my service users. Super stuff!0 -

Yup Ladyhawk, I felt it was time MrA got upgraded to OH status, he's convinced me now that he's genuinely adorable and thinks I am too, here's hoping I won't have any more irrational panics for a very, very long time.....

Evening
Pleasures for today:
1. Tea in bed this morning thanks to DD, served with HM cake. It was a bit early for cake for me but would have been rude not to eat some:D
2. Trip to MIL to take her mothers day presents. She liked them and they had a touch of MSE about them but not obvious:money:. We also took breakfast of almond croissants and fresh orange juice
3. Chat with my mum on the phone. She had received her presents through the post in time and liked what she had as well. Again MSE
4. Took DD clothes shopping in Kingston as she needs some summer clothes for her morrocco trip. It was quite expensive but did get a lot for the money and hopefully that is her sorted for the summer and a wedding that we are going to next month
5. Easy dinner of fish fingers, chips and beans as we had a roast yesterday
Hugs to all who need them, especially Frith.
Ladyhawk and CCP hope you are both feeling better now. Ladyhawk good luck with the Moonwalk fundraising and training, I know how hard both are0 -
Caterina I'd just turned onto the A1M when I saw that sunset, so incredible. When I arrived home phoned DM to let her know I was back safely and she said she wished I could have stayed with her one more hour as she'd just seen the most wonderful sunset! So it was seen in London, Herts and Oxfordshire
(((Frith))) thinking of you and praying you find peace and happiness
Ladyhawk I have arthritis in my shoulder and if I turn my head/move that arm too quickly I can get dizzy spells - wonder if similar could be happening due to your tendonitis. Certainly worth getting it checked out in case it happens when you're driving
Kittikins congrats on Mr A's promotion to OH :j
DitaBombita thanks for the reminder, I meant to plant salad leaves on my window sill (well, in a pot on my window sill) and forgot. Hope it's not too late!
1. A smooth run down to Henley, left early so as not to hit the Mothers Day rush. No traffic jams = less fuel used
2. A good day with DM, lunch out and a bit of shopping. She loved her Mothers Day pressie of knickers which she can't get at a decent price locally. She's well stocked up for a while now
3. Lunch in our usual restaurant which lets DM have a childs meal as she has such a small appetite
4. Poring over the cruise brochure and dreaming of our holiday in June to celebrate her 90th birthday
5. That sunset!
Night night, sleep tight

3. Dropped kids off at various places & husband & I went for some lunch.....and read of papers!
4. Home & plonked reduced chicken in oven, because oven is so pathetic it takes absolutely ages to cook a chicken......so a much later dinner.
5.Chatted to one of my best friend's from home for 90 minutes.....just like the good old days!!
6. Had a call with my mum for 30 minutes!
It was dark at 6.45pm last night
