Hi all
Please, does anyone know how to insert pictures or images on the forum, or could you please post the link to the info - no matter how hard I try I cannot find it (sorry for ineptitude!). Thank you very much!
Ages since I have done it but have googled it and cut and pasted from MSE. Think it makes sense and is what I did.
Good luck
OK. First you take your picture (obviously  ) and download it to your computer.
Then you need to sign up for an online photo sharing account, for example http://photobucket.com/
Follow their instructions for uploading the photo.
You need a copy of the URL Link to put into your MSE message. Photobucket show the URL link under the photo after it's been uploaded.
Copy this link.
When you have made a new message on MSE you can *insert the photo by pressing the "Insert Image" icon on the tool bar above (looks like a yellow square with mountains). This open another box for you to insert the URL link.
Type the link into the box and press "ok".
If you press "Preview Post" you should be able to see your photo.
Edited to add:
If your pic is too big delete the URL link in your MSE message. Click on the photo on the photobucket site. It will give you the option to resize. Repeat from * above."Money SPENDING Expert0 -
Afternoon all.
Another quick post from me tonight as I'm finding that spending time looking at a computer screen makes the dizziness worse.
Frith - :j:j:j:j is about all I can say.
ampersand - it's good to see you posting again - I wish you an ever-increasing number of pleasures to post.
A few random pleasures for the past couple of days:
1) A nice, warm, dry flat to be unwell in - it really does make a lot of difference.
2) Lots of cuddles with my puddy tat - he doesn't care that I'm ill, just that I'm here during the day to cuddle him.
3) A flower on my Christmas cactus.
4) Daffodil buds appearing in the raised bed outside my bedroom window.
5) NSD today, the second this week (one of the few good things about being ill is that there's less temptation to spend money).
6) Watching nature documentaries on iplayer.
7) Having lots of food in the fridge and freezer so I don't have to worry about cooking when I'm feeling lousy.
I hope everyone recovers from the various unwellnesses that seem to be going around. Have a pleasant evening, all.Back after a very long break!0 -
Just popping by to wish Frith many, many congratulations on your new status, very :money:indeed! Hope you and the boys (and Mr N, of course) get to have a little celebration :j:T:j:T:j0

Frith congratulations, you must be over the moon!
For today-
1 Nice to come home after a working day full of frustrations (too numerous to mention).
2 A very appreciative wee cat almost bursting out the door when I got home.
3 A nice cuppa and a slice of cheesecake.
4 Looking forward to starting a Louise Doughty book tonight.
5 An early night.
Wishing you all a good evening x0 -
Ah. thanks, everyone!
I knew when I made the new sig there was something different about 26th Jan. I just realised what it was! 26.1.2005 was when I returned home after I left my husband (spent 3 weeks or so in a women's refuge).
And now it can be the anniversary of paying off more than £30,000 debt HE built up and the anniversary of when work first started to be done on my house...
Haven't told MrN yet. :-)0 -
Thank you Bluenose1 for the info about inserting pics, I have now sent it to the person who asked me.
Frith, reading in full how far you have come along brought tears to my eyes, you amazing woman, I hope you have a really big celebration! From now on, the sky is the limit! (((((MEGAHUG)))))Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -
Congrats Frith :T
I have had a long overdue day off from work
1. Homemade bread toasted with homemade marmalade for brekkie
2. Nice potter around B&Ms.. now have 2 cars so first time ive been able to go out and about on my day off
3. Hubby came home from work for lunch which was nice.
4. Had a call from work about a 'potential new opportunity' which would be amazing if it came off
5. Hubby now gone out for evening and I am going to have a bath and watch Taggart I recorded last nightGoal - We want to be mortgages free :j
I Quit Smoking March 2010 :T0 -
Evening everyone!
Wow - well done Frith :j You've done incredibly well and should be so proud! I think we should all have a slice of :bdaycake: and a glass or 2 of something alcofrolic to celebrate
My 5 for today:-
1) Setting to work shredding a load of work papers I no longer need. I think I'll try and freecycle the bin bags full of cross shred paper - maybe someone with rabbits or hamsters might be able to use it?
2) Still managing to keep the house tidy - although some craft stuff has crept into the lounge and hasn't been put away yet
3) Went through the MSE weekly newsletter and earmarked a few things to take advantage of - have at least linked my Nectar card to British Gas (although it's time I found a cheaper energy supplier)
4) Arranged to see a friend tomorrow who needs cheering up
5) The amaryllis stalk grew at least 2" overnight  The bud is looking nice and fat
Have a good evening all - hope CCP, Ladyhawk and others who are unwell feel better soon
Pam x
PS Can we all spare a thought for dundeedoll who's had an accident in her car (I think she's ok though) and sadly had to have her beloved puddy tat put to sleep following a sudden illness0
