Welcome Candlepower - what on earth is a nutrioanal seminar?
    Man plans and God laughs...
Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.

    Morning

    Mine for yesterday:
    1. Finally made an effort with one of the projects I am working on. Don't know why I have been putting it off.
    2. Credit card bill is quite high this month due to buying laptop and paying for a hotel stay for a wedding:eek: but my dad has given me the money for the hotel (i love my dad) and with a bit of shuffling of accounts and being good the rest of the month it will be paid in full. Pre MSE would probably have just paid the minimum
    3. Buying a small silly present for someone I used to share an office with who is taking early retirement. Sad to see him go but know he will appreciate the gift.
    4. Take away for dinner but there is enough left to use for DD and OH lunch. I don't need lunch as we are going to the pub;)
    5. DD being very independent and walking to guides on her own, did call to say there though as in her words "mum is a panicky pants and will just stress if as don't".

Hugs to all who need them

    Morning all!

Looks like I'm not the only gym bunny on here!

    My 5 for yesterday:

    1. Evening at a friend's house, meeting her gorgeous chinchilla and drinking wine and being very silly!

    2. Good session in the gym - plenty of cardio and some weights work.

    3. Cuddles with Fudge and Willow. The woman who was supposed to come and see them backed out at the last minute (grrr, but it is probably for the best) so they will be my foster babes for a while yet.

    4. Shredding yet more redundant paperwork from my house - more stuff I don't have to put in storage whilst I am away.

    5. Yummy spcy pasta for tea.
Life is not a dress rehearsal.

Hello all :) hope you are well! REEAAAALLY need to find five today as I'm wallowing in my own pity today and that's not on! Ok...here goes!

    1. Went to the doc today for a lady check and I was very brave- even though it didn't happen....I was still very brave :rotfl:
    2. Bought a reduced blackcurrant bush for 99p, which has lovely green stems coming out of it!
    3. Have been offered in freecycle the following purely cos I asked: Tomato plants, strawberry plants, a raspberry cane, a tayberry bush, some more leeks and a load of seeds which I can plant now ready for the winter
    4. Strawberries are ripening by the day! Can't wait to eat them!
    5. I have lost ten kilos since last month which is brilliant since I'm on steroids so I'm feeling happier about myself again (no idea what that is in pounds but it is pretty good!)

Ok.... well that was theraputic! Have a good day all :)

Hee hee it's ok you can keep it :rotfl: I was thinking of treating myself to a choccy cake but that would not help the downward spiral!
