Thanks guys. newlywed keep going there's a perfect job for you out there somewhere. I was lucky in that when I was put on notice our HR department sent my CV to Aberdeen to see if they had something for me. I was just pure chance that this job had come up. The interview I had was a bit scary.....3 people for an hour and a quarter. Lots and lots of questions. Then we had lunch and I was told the client thought I was perfect for the job and all we had to do was discuss terms and pay....if I wanted it of course!!! It's been a whirlwind....boss rang this morning to say that he was releasing me and that I was starting in Aberdeen on Tuesday....got to go in the office tomorrow to collect my stuff and say goodbye

Carolyntia - Congratulations on the new job!:j

    Morning all!

We have had a very busy morning here
The good news is - my tooth is much better! Wohoo!
The bad news - I went to get a clean towel from my airing cupboard this morning and my boiler has leaked all over them . It must have started leaking within the last 24 hours, but it has soaked through 2 Bath towels and my posh (And very expensive) Dorma bedding  and has left oily, rusty marks all over them. It is still leaking in 3 places and I have bowls under neath trying to catch the drips, our boiler is covered by insurance but the engineer can't get here until tomorrow.

So, as I am still trying to look on the brightside, So here are yesterdays pleasures:
    - DH in Surrey for work, but managed to get home much earlier than normal as his meeting was brief.
    - Using leftover cooked lamb from the freezer to make a "sort of" hot pot for tea (I have lost count of the meals I have managed to get out of this particular leg of lamb!)
    - The smell of rain after a long dry spell.
    - Getting stuck into a good book.
    - Tidying up DD's nursery and finding some toys and books I had forgotton about.

    Hi Everyone

Carolyntia - WELL DONE AND CONGRATULATIONS!
Newlywed - chin up... hope your luck changes soon
Sparrer - My trip to Norway is to look at the fishing industry there so I should get to see a lot of beautiful scenery

    1) Little wander into town with a colleague today - picked up loads of whoopies so have loads of veggies for the weekend. Not sure how I am going to get through all of them!! But its going to be yummy!

    2) Work was very busy today - but got loads done.

    3) My colleague was very chuffed with the courgette and tomato plants that I gave her this morning

Hmm... only 3 today... that's not good...

*note to self* - must try harder!

    Have a lovely evening

2 Toddler group this morning and we played with the sand and built cars with stickle bricks.
