    Hello everyone!
awww, a bad paw? bless, hope it gets better soon!
Yes - she sprained it (we think) on Sunday. She's been sad since then. We're keeping an eye on it. Silly pup heaved this morning too so I woke up to the delightful smell of that! Massive pile of barely digested cow manure on my carpet! Thanks doglet _pale_ She won't be being fed for 24hours now. Yucky yuck.
Received some handmade presents from my sister - a necklace and earings and a 1950's inspired Apron that she handstitched herself - it is really beautiful, she really is a talented girl.
This sounds lovely! I will definitely make myself one of these as soon as my sewing machine returns from rehab! Have to get on with jewellery making too.
5 Sorted out the chook from Sunday roast (large better than half price large organic) it did Sunday diner for 2, 2 x cheesed off chicken - freeze 1, 1 for ds dinner, 4 portions of chicken curry, 1 portion corination chicken (my dinner tommorrow) and 2L of stock. Am most impressed.
    WOW! Well done you.

    5. Had a low spend day after having to leave shopping in Mr T's as the queues were so long. I know it's naughty but I couldn't stay and wait as I would have been late picking DD up.....on the other hand, once I left the supermarket, i realised that actually I CAN live without about 80% of what was in the trolley! Note to self: don't go shopping when spaced out on painkillers!
Thank you for reminding me that this is so very true!!

CCP - shame about the comment, I never understand how some people are blind to how their words/actions affect others. Excellent news about your grandmother feeling a bit better though, and also lovely that you have Swifts!

    My five...

    1. Got my new phone yesterday just before I left work so I got to play with it all night :D it's quite different from my old one so I'm still getting used to it. It's lush though, well pleased.
    2. My poor little soldier (OH) is not well. He is claiming to have man-flu: apparently it's akin to childbirth?? :rotfl: and he went to bed at 9 last night while I was watching a movie. His phone call was very sweet because he's feeling all sorry for himself and I do love looking after him.
    3. Watching the movie - New Moon - eeeeeee! Totally in love with the Twilight Saga. I'm a geek. Oh and totally Team Edward, though I wouldn't kick Jacob outta bed too quickly! Oh my. Of course this only applies if I weren't with OH... Ahem :o
    4. DF, DM and I had one of our little 'discussions' while all recumbent on the sofa. Shoutings and laughing about who's feet one could smell and how loud the telly had suddenly gotten (DF loves to sneakily turn it up for laughs) and requests for someone else to get up and turn on the Xbox so we could watch the movie. Was silly and funny and great.
    5. OH coming over tonight so will be recieving cuddles and requests for looking after due to intense man-flu having :D Awwww.

Have a lovely day ladies... and possible lurking gents...?! :T

Update to one of my pleasures... OH is actually much more ill than I thought and won't be coming round. He can't even get out of bed and suggested I didn't come round. Blimey - I must have under estimated the devestating effects of man-flu! Doh. Shall miss him tonight then. Pleasure from this? Hmm... I can now embark on an evening of pampering and grooming (long overdue!!). Good thinking Batman.

Hope everyone is enjoying their days! :)

It's so tough waiting isn't it? I have waited since february so you can imagine the aneurism every time a brown envelope came through! Hope you are feeling ok. Consultants like to make things sound bleak don't they?

Hope your lottery ticket is a winner :)

Oooooh, struggling so much at the moment to keep up with everything. Had a lovely couple of weeks though, partly because it was my birthday and other things going on as well, so here are my blessings.

    1) A lovely weekend away with DH for my birthday.

    2) Discovering that I still enjoyed walking more than I thought I did. Walked 16 miles on Saturday for fun!

    3) DH bought me a mini weather station so I can keep an eye on the weather and my veggies.

    4) Lovely family get together catching up with each other and having a laugh.

    5) Receiving some free tea samples and being given a free bottle of special shampoo for my hair:)

Hope everyone else has had some good things going on. Sorry I'm struggling to keep tack at the moment but will do my best.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
    Evening all.

    wssla00 - :j :D

berniesmaster - hope your application gets approved soon too.

Shadowsfall - hope your OH is OK - man-flu can be really debilitating, can't it? ;)

newlywed - congrats on making the second interview, and on getting another interview, too. Fingers tightly crossed you get one of them (or even both so you can decide between them :)).

    My five pleasures for today:

    1) NSD

    2) My favourite tree, which looks so pretty even on a gloomy, grey sort of day like today.

    3) Finally got round to going back to the restaurant I visited with my DM last week to point out the mistake on the bill. The manager was very apologetic and gave me a voucher for a free round of drinks next time we visit - result, I feel. :D

    4) And I got back to the office just as the heavens opened - nice timing!

    5) Anglesea Eggs for dinner tonight. It's a recipe off the Hairy Bikers round Britain series, which I'm very pleased to see is being repeated so I can watch all the episodes I missed first time round - I think there's one on iplayer I haven't watched yet, so I'll watch that while I'm eating. (That's actually two pleasures, isn't it? Never mind! :))

    Have a lovely evening, everyone.
Back after a very long break!

    5. Hoping to get time later to catch up with all your posts.:A

Have a great os evening, hugs to all who need them:A. Love BT xxx
