Hi all - never posted here before but since buying a house in the country I've found my life is a lot more OS - plus we're trying to save money after our wedding
So, today:
1) made my first loaf of bread in my breadmaker using yeast (only used bread mixes before) - came out perfectly!
2) Went to the garden centre and picked up a few shrubs for my currently grey concrete garden
3) made a batch of American-style blueberry pancakes to freeze for next weekend - worked perfectly, have never made them before!
4) Got the growhouse out of the garage and planted up some lettuce seedlings
5) Made some butternut squash soup for work this week using up a sad looking squash and some carrots that need eating.
6) Boiled up a big pan of dried chick peas and cannellini beans and froze in portions ready for use.
Have a great evening all! xxMy debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |

WELCOME Lilian1977 :hello:Man plans and God laughs...Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.0

Afternoon all. Here's my five for today:
1) Enjoyed a lie-in this morning after getting in late last night.

Have a nice evening, everyone.

Evening all, from soggy Gloucester,
Here's my five or more
1. The garden got watered at nil effort again today (it rained)

5. Scones in freezer for the trip up to dads at the weekend
6. Fruit cakes made 1 in freezer, 1 for eating now.
7. built up the cheap plastic shelving for the side entrance, it fits a treat, all the bits and pieces are on it and veg trays are now out side not on kitchen work surface.
8. More workspace now in kitchen.
9 Greenhouse full fit to bust (just wish the frost threat would go away)
10 Builder said he could start relaying the patio at the end of next week
11 may need to book a few days off to get away from the dust of grinder cutting slabs (COPD will not like it)
