  • Double back flips last eve with the pancakes. Tum was rubbed

5 Well BoPsie quite rightly has demanded a rematch of Scrabble this week. Now thing is t’other day, she managed to get too better wobbleade for BoP. Unfortunately for BoPsie, it backfired on her, and she lost again. IN the second game by a considerable margin. It seems BoP plays better when the wobbleade is too good to be true. I promised her a night out,, but oh no, she wants to go again!

4 Down at the mill, the technicians of IT are running wild. More coke has been scoured for the machines. On mill and proper tools, last eve BoPsie decided to lock her locker at the gym, with the key inside. Knurdlers of nuts were used to gain access!

3 This weekend BoP is removing the crapper, the Thomas Crapper. Down stairs bog, the bone of Big Sis contention as to why it is still naked, will be sore ted. Just hope I has the blank for the inlet water otherwise there is going to be a mess! More tomorrow.
2 Nite BoP made fried of stir with prawns of king, together with egg fried rice. Proper food and no broad beans! Will be Ho Ming Sin style. Hot as with added chili. Recipe available on request. Proper food and good for you! No beans of broad will be used!

    1 An unplanned lay-in.

2 I visited DF who is a fair journey away in hospital in a dementia ward, and honestly it was farcical, I had to look out of the window, laughing as it was all so surreal.

3 Wandered around watering the front and back garden, and thinking weeding and tying up plants needs to be on my to do list tomorrow. I started tidying out the greenhouse, so far 4 bin bags full of trays thrown.

4 DH has asked to order in, he does love this one, and I do have 2 weeks work coming up so ordering in we are.

5 Some candles are burning, a French window is open, animals playing and a good book on the kindle while waiting for takeaway delivery.

    1. News about MIL a nursing home may have been found for her. She needs to go into one as she is stuck in a chair as can't/ won't walk. For the majority of the day she is alone. Fingers crossed it will happen.

    2. Coffee in the garden first thing.

    3. Housework done quickly and some gardening done.

    4. Good train journey. Connection made easily. Worked from St Pancras to Euston.

    5. Watched Phil Collins play. Excellent evening. We last saw him 26 years ago, I think, in Paris.

    Pleasures for yesterday (Friday)

    1) Up early and was in the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham before 10! Collected my ring that has been fixed, resized and looks sparkly after a clean.

    2) Went to Ikea and only bought the usual Daim bars for sons and some jam. Had lunch in the caf!.

    3) Had my hair cut.

    4) My brother came round for a takeaway.

    5) Watched Gogglebox, Last Leg, HIGNFY.
  • 5 Big Train of Warster was caught last nite and for a change it was on time. Now BoP again took BoPsie out inn her rags of glad, and yet again not only did BoP find money in wallet this very morning, but somehow, we have money left in the bank as well. Duvet testing was carried out this morning.

4 Then what a mistake this morning as the usual feast was grilled, BoP managed to fry up all the mushrooms and now has to get some more for tonight's dynamite mushrooms. Recipes available on the tonight's dish page. Snorker, best back, with haricot beans NOT BROAD! in tomato sauce, buttered toast topped with poached egg and star cut grilled tomato! Tum is being rubbed vigorously!
Chicken Tikka Bites, homemade and not emporium gunk. Served with dynamite mushrooms and fridgies!

    Tikka Bite.
Two decent breasts of Chicken (BoP is a breast man!), cubed.
    Natural Yogut
    Juice of 1 lemon
    Coriander
    Chili
    Garem Masala
    Termites (Turmeric!)
    Mint
Mix it all up with chicken

    Fridgies
    All them left over bits!

    Dynamite mushrooms
Chopped mushrooms fried with garlic and chili flakes!
3 Just watched the lions. Bit poor I thought and usual BoP rules, briung them home and send out the Met Police to ruff 'em up!

2 Nite BoP is inn for a Marilyn! BoPsie wants a Burt though. Could be a compromise with a Welch!

If you are with one, move on!

    Almost bedtime.

    Lazy morning.

2 nice dog walks ( all wrapped up in hat and gloves...brrr) still lovely colours on trees...the ones that still have their leaves.

Bought 3 primula, 1 primrose and 1 pansy for my back porch. I'm loving their bright and cheery colours.

Made lovely cauliflower and Parmesan soup. Had that with some cheese on toast stars on top.

Kind offer from a friend to stay / use their car whilst they're on holiday. Probably won't but have booked both DD2 and I in at end of July when we need to go and look at uni open day.

  • 1) Small Orley grandson continues to get better and is eating for England to make up for time lost while he was poorly, nice to see him chirpy again!

    2) Lovely few days away in the week, hotel not great but not the pits either. Had to ask for a different room though as the first one was not double glazed, direct onto a very busy A road and the window was broken (part of the bottom frame missing) and wouldn't shut properly. Second room not nearly as plush and meant for the disabled/dog owners but at the back and quiet.

    3) Room had a wet room with the best shower I've ever used, want one at home now!

    4) Great visit to the Bath and West Show where we had a really nice day and the best vegan chickpea curry ever for lunch.

    5) Spent a lovely day up with DD1 and got home after lunch yesterday, house now cleaned, washing dry, shopping done, menu planned, gardens/allotment/hothouses picked and mostly processed (just todays broad beans to pod and freeze) and looking forward to having Maisie doggie for the first time overnight as it's her owners twins 18th today and she'll be much more comfy with us and out of the fun and frolics!!!

Sorry to hear about charlotte frith (((hugs)))
Now listening to tms ball by ball courtesy of lainey buses, pigeons and cake. Love it!
    1) a beautiful morning. Got the grass cut - having been away and not given instructions to others had to strim it. Got some weeding done and washing out to dry - always a pleasure
    2) chicken and tomato pasta for lunch and a good kitchen clean listening to the Michael palin play
    3) then the skies opened so further weeding will have to wait. Managed to get washing in phew
    4) didn't break iPad. Was watching how to unblock your dyson YouTube with iPad on floor and dyson across my lap. Wiggled and wiggled head which suddenly came off, dropping to floor and missing iPad by inches.
    5) due to rain I decided to start book club book. A sense of an ending. Was short and have finished it. Hmmm not sure my cup of tea.
Mr piano was playing over in St. Andrews. Got fish and chips on his way back. And now I'm tucked up in my freshly laundered sheets. Night all x
