Love and Hugs to Mhags, thinking of you daily x
Thought of Ampersand as we had a day in London on Saturday, pity it rained
1) Yellow thing is out
2) 30th Wedding Anniversary today, Where did the time go?
3) Wine is in
4) Pancakes for tea
5) Been offered a job, start on Friday(in a supermarket but happy to get a Job!)
Positive vibes and love to one and all x0 -
Shall wave hello as I overlook a sparkly night scape . Another sunset. Not sure if we will make sunrise .
The most truly awful night which if it hadn't been happening to us would be comedic. Think I maybe got 2 hours sleep all in.
Finally was tucked in ,by our lovely nurse , in bed with my husband. Been a while since we've been in a single bed! I was a lot skinnier in those days!
Woke to hot air balloons floating past our balcony as sun was rising.
Another day of kindness shown, kids all popped in at various times. Lovely pain doctor popped in for a chat. Music therapist stuck his head in ( literally that was all.) our gentle oncologists being gentle yet honest.
A day of listening to our music, to me singing in his ear, sharing the memories the music evoked.
Mainly just another day together. This is our 13th day here. In that time we've celebarated our early silver wedding, rejoiced at an almost 17 year old, had doggy hugs, our own lovely Haggis and therapets , he's played guitar, we've taken lots of photos ( nurse even took pics of us snuggled up in bed this morning) , we've shared our love, we've laughed , we've certainly cried and just made the most of everyday. I know I have a very different future ahead of me and will have many difficult and probably frustrating ( knowing what Australian burocracy can be) days ahead but I go ahead with the knowledge of love from my husband and my little troup of children...who made pancakes for themselves today. First time in ever I've not been there to make them.
Good night from me x0 -

Thoughts with you, Mhags, as always.Glad you got the bed-share. TG it wasn't an extra narrow bed.
Hot air balloons are always such a special sight.
We saw a lot thirty years ago at Catterick. One of the serving officers with one of the then resident regiments was something big in British hot air ballooning.
Last time I saw one here, it was one of those Virgin experiences balloons. It skimmed our rooftops, only about 30 feet above them - really worrying as we are surrounded by very tall trees. They escaped, just.
1. Delicious home made ready meal - a simple bacon broth but just what was needed.
2. Thoughtful delivery people once more. Making all the difference.
3. Pancakes. Just for greedy me, this year. I added sultanas as my Mum used to. A!di had blueberries and I did think of making them to the genuine Estonian recipe. However, pancakes with sultanas or raisins was what Mum always made. The real thing wouldn't have brought back real memories.
4. More daffodils out. They thrived on being disturbed last year and there are flowers in abundance ready for March 1st tomorrow.
5. Your pleasures, thank you.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
