Dear mhags, had all those sorts of thoughts mixing with differing shapes and shades of 'freedom' as midnight passed for us all, and I was here posting.
Reading your words of peace for OH is to reread my cousin, so recently, for Aunt at same point (a strong Aberdonian ex-pat. who also made the New World journey...)
A new month, new day we share with you, all thanks to your beautiful generosity here.CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:

Mhags - sad for you reading about the unit manager but so glad that you acted and he was removed. Thinking of you all.
Vjsmum - hope the antibiotics soon work x
POP and BOPsie - congratulations and many more happy years to you both.
1. Glorious sky. Pink, gold and dappled grey. Beautiful.
2. 7 year old patchwork throw finished and on sofa. Bad, bad patchworking but very cheerful.
3.More reading.
4. My slow cooker. Split pea and ham soup and no steam:)
5. Miniature irises out in the tubs, I'd forgotten I'd put them in lastyear so quite a surprise when they opened.0 -

Happy Anniversary for yesterday BOP and BOPsie, wishing you another 30
Feel better soon VJsMum
Some pleasures for the last two days,
Clean sheets to snuggle into and a new book to start.
Meal out with DB, just the two of us, yummy Greek food in a Unicity favourite, he brought me a memory box for DM treasures, tears.
DN has signed for local footie team, we worked out that he is just 15 leagues below premier, incredibly proud.
Spring clean started, if it's not nailed down it's being scrubbed or polished :rotfl:

Posting early today (17:21 Sri Lanka time) as cleaners cleaning my room. So sitting in the foyer, fan on my face, eyes a wee bit damp from your update mhags Your post reminded me of 1 Corinthians 12 (and yes i did have to look that up!) where paul talks about the different gifts we have. Good that you raised the issue of the indifferent / rude nurse, good that the hospital has recognised their gifts of management, lets hope they are kept forever more using their gifts. We all have our gifts, and your gift mhags has been amplified over the last months.
1) I slept pretty much through the night and woke at 7:30 SL time (2am back home) then a lovely shower and a leisurely breakfast then picked up by driver at 8:20
2) 2 workshops with lish lunch in the middle - a rice dish baked in banana leaves. As leading workshops was able to stand through both and stretch bad knee.
3) back to hotel and just finished book (little coffee shop of kabul). Next book is sequel to nightingale floor trilogy - Harsh Cry of the Heron, inspired choice from my hygge-box swap last month.
4) So loved putting together the hygge box I am planning one for my sister's birthday (another March birthday mhags 18th) and one each for my daughters. Might even find some nice little sri lankan treats :-)
5) DD2 who is sad due to splitting up with bf of 7.5 years is learning the ukele and is posting her journey. So far a very recognisable hallelujah, something from la la land (haven't seen it so don't know if recognisable) and 'first draft' of over the rainbow (my request). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fahr069-fzE for those unfamiliar (this is the Israel version not dd2 lols)MrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025

5 Downhill now. After all that,BoP got his Hawker Demon and his Battle of Britain Class 603 Squadron! Track this one! Oh, Just realised that DD flew from RAF Turnhouse as well!
4 Had to do something at mill today for the thirst time. Not nice, but … Now that blot has gone, more on the millwrights wheel for the projects’ next phase later. Should bluff this one as well Note to readers Pension!
3 I actually tossed off last night with the pancakes. And flipping heck, it was good! Served with viennetta, oranges, freshly squeezed lemon, that jif one is for cleaning baths. Avoid. With the new scales bought for BoP at Christmas, they were even better than the best I have ever done! BoPsie got loads of milk out of the freezer, note the refrigerator is for cooling wobbleale, to find BoP being marvellous, uses Marvel. Proper food!
2 Nite BoP is checking his six pack inn his pink tutu. And for the beach, it is looking good! More inn the summer! And we are talking bronze!
Shhhh, now is not the time to get messy! Now is the time to listen.0
