Cornflakes with full cream milk. Or just cream
Or.. be radical and have Weetabix spread with butter and jam.
I've run out of Weetabix, which is a shame as I quite fancy one or two for supper now.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I'd go for snorkers Mhags! Oops.:heartpuls.
If you survive five years after a heart event. You have survived. I know probably wrong time to bloody shout.
BoP has survived FIVE YEARS!
There told you.
Also result from Up Nurff. We both are winners! Project rolls to next phase. All is good,
PS. Flocking train home was useless. Should had gone via Warster!0 -
It was cornflakes with lactose free milk and I've just managed a slice of toast and jam....living the high life!0

Hooray for knitty Noras mhags I must get back to dd1's. happy birthday miss mhags
Pointless ppt vjsmum? Sad indeed
1) excellent online classroom with new markers. The course goes from strength to strength. And colleague recorded it for future us
2) excellent seminar with free lunch and on topic I am running workshop on next week. Good timing! Asked presenter if I could use some of her slides (yes vjsmum ppt) yes of course. All good
3) dd2 picked me up from work and we went bought Chinese. Not totally mse but some nights are takeaway nights!
4) good Skype with PhD student and colleague in oz (no ppt)
5) found forgotten lone choccie muffin and some left over custard. Comfort food :jMrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025

Happy 17th birthday, young MHags!
Pleasures for today:
1) A lie in.
2) House immaculate (this morning...)
3) Sons home.
4) Hens well and we set all the rat traps as new holes have appeared.
5) Went to the new leisure centre for a nose and smaller son's friends were there playing football (they'd hired an all weather pitch) so he played football with them for a while.
6) Bigger son went to meet his friends.
7) My brother came round and played on the Xbox with smaller son.
More revelations from bigger son today. Very unhappy and acting that out in various hair curling ways. No idea what to do about it, short of moving to some island!
Ah yes, and have been saving for his theory/practical tests, for his lessons and to put him on the car insurance for my car. The ex has bought himself a 2nd car (in his name) and would I like to pay half the insurance so bigger son can drive it when he's staying with him? Er..... no! If he'd bought so much as a sock for his sons to wear or a single raisin for them to eat over the last 12 years, I might consider it but... nope!0 -

I'd always pictured you as blonde, DD, but I got the rest spot on, which was slightly spooky!Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... Ooh get you, DD. To clarify, I have no problem with a powerpoint, on the whole. Use them myself (well, used to) but mostly as an 'aide-memoir'. But four PhD students in a seminar, and you have to read off the ppt? Something wrong there.
Pleasures for yesterday
1. Getting up - yes, really. Lying down makes me cough more so getting up was a relief.
2. Belgian chocs bought by DS (with our money) One or two a day, something to be savoured. The problem will be when OH gets home from a few work days away - he does not have the same self control.
3. Food in the freezer so i don't have to go shopping
4. Watched the Brits with DS
5. A flowering daff in the garden
A little better today, but a way to go I thinkI wanna be in the room where it happens0 -
1. Son is home until tomorrow and made it home before the storm hit last night
2. Elderly pooch is well and happy and no puddles overnight
3. Homemade fish pie for dinner tonight
4. The weather is foul but no snow and I haven't had to go anywhere
5. Feeling better than yesterday and managed a shower this morning0 -
Glad you are feeling a little better today caronc.
1. high winds and squally rain when I left home at 6am but thankfully rain had stopped by the time I got to work
2. patio table has blown over in the garden but it still looks in one piece - haven't been out back to check yet !
3. met a friend for lunch we went for a 2 for £8.49 meal deal and so I spent under £10 including drinks :j
4. bit of a snooze when I got home
5. Chat to DF on phone and he has been better in last few days not so many anxiety / panic attacks and less pacing. Good to hear him sounding more like himself0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗
