Mhags thinking of you. Very scary but more good memories of playing cards and chatting.
Frith thinking of you and your son and hopefully he will be helped by the referral.
1. I have a couple of daffodils out - small ones in a pot with purple iris. It looks very spring like.
2. Don't think there is any damage caused by the storm. I had to go out in the garden a few times to find things in the shed for DH.
3. Had day off as had to use up leave before end of March. Did bits of housework, some cooking, dried washing on the line as it was so windy and read some of my book.
4. DS1 popped in to give me some shredding to do and he took some shoes back with him. He had left them here when he moved out 18 months ago!!
It was lovely seeing him.
5. DS2 saying he really enjoyed tea. It was a chicken curry that used up left over chicken.0 -
(((Hugs mhags, these things are sent to test us. More roses for you))).Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
"No man is worth, crawling on the earth"- adapted from Bob Crewe and Bob Gaudio
Hope is not a strategy...A child is for life, not just 18 years....Don't get me started on the NHS, because you won't win...I love chaz-ing!

Guess who came a visiting today? Other than our lovely pain doctor and gentle oncologists? Haggis! He came in with DS , he was so super dooper excited. Hadn't told OH so he had a lovely surprise after a rough morning.
Soup and sandwiches for tea and a card school again!
Lovely chat with our pain doctor , she comes in every morning and we usually have a lovely chat and a bit of a laugh as well as the serious stuff. She is a very special person.
Social worker came in and had a good chat with her ...in a counselling kind of way, music therapist came in and had a good chat with him , he brought OH a guitar in to play. Pastoral Care lady came in, she just missed meeting Haggis which she was disappointed with but then we got a visit from Boomer a lovely golden retriever therapet. Lovely...so many doggies.
The most stunning sunset reflecting in the distant hills. It was shiny gold.
Have a good day, I've got my bed made up.....see what the night has in store!

DD Blonde? Strawberry blonde. No, I was thinking more like orange and a mad hatter!
5 Well the trip up Nurff this week was good, up to the point of getting on the delayed again train back down sooouth. Last October BoP was delayed for ever, and went into the sugar cake bar at Derby station, to find one of the refrigerators not working. Guess what. It still was not working on Wednesday. Also, this place only sells sugar cakes, at least five days old, no fresh food, foam coffee and carp. Avoid, it was on Platform 6. Good job BoPsie was on the ball and had her BoP a pint of wobbleade and curry ready for him. It was wolfed down.
4 Is Saturday on FryDay. I know, well you cannot keep snorkers from brewing. You see BoP and BoPsie are in the smoke on SatDay, so the normal breakFest of BoP has come a day early. This time made by BoPsie. Snorker, Best Back, Mushrooms, hot buttered toast, scramble eggs, grilled toms. Wolfed down with fresh concentrate of orange and eua de faucet. Not only that, but as you know, sticky chicken is so last month, I have already done the proper tikka chicken. It is now brewing nicely in the dish. Proper natural yogut, garlic, coriander, termites, garam masala, chilli and BoPsie used about half othe the world supply of ginger as well. Will be on skewers with proper toe nail onions and peppers. Served with wobbleade!
3 That has sure filled BoP up for the day and now he is at mill. Just thinking that last week the solitary spurs fan mentioned the passing of Arsenals European campaign this year and shall I keep quiet! Obviously those who know BoP will understand my next move!
2 Morrow. That leaves the smoke tomorrow and we are on the Big London Train. Hopefully we will capture the bear on the way inn! BoPsie is herding towards the NPG! We need a Turner for the front room and the one of the doomed warship will do nicely. More later.
Once you have finished, pass on your part with pride!
Last week we had Jenny’s anniversary events! :heartpuls :heartpuls :heartpuls :heartpuls :heartpuls
Now it is the time of pearl! + one! And BoP is not talking knitting either!0 -

Ah well, some of us frequent the first class lounge on platform 6 at Derby, BoP -Though, to be fair, the coffee is pretty awful there too.
And, i don't think you'll find the doomed warship at the NPG
So glad Haggis and OH got to see each other, Mhags
Pleasures for yesterday
1. cough, cough, splutter, wheeze. The only pleasures with this are a lozenge and lemsip
2. Although i did give up working at one point and try to lie on sofa watching another episode of Taboo. Had to get up to a chair due to 1. but did see the epi.

MHAGS in my thoughts, prayers and heart, all of you including Haggis! Hang in there love, it's the only thing you can do, stay strong xxx.
1) Violets and celandines are now out on the sunny corner in the village beside the road down to the river, beautiful.
2) Large bee doing bee things on said verge, magic!
3) Sunshine and being so warm today I had to undo my jacket, even contemplated taking it off!!!
4) Looking down at the river and the water was blue under a blue sky with the yachts and small boats perfectly reflected in it, picture postcard stuff!
5) Trip to town, Cookie walk, walk to doctors surgery and finally home, biggest pleasure of the day...the cup of tea I've just consumed and am off for another one right now!!!0 -

We have Rhubarb again. Note to readers. Do not take stalks from Rhubard inn the thirst year, as you need time for bulbs to grow. Next year, there's going to be some crumbles. More next year!0 -
1. beautiful spring day
2. achieving the 10 a day
3.talking to a friend in the village
4.deciding that plain hot water is as nice as tea or coffee
5. taking the dog for a walk0 -
Oldtractor, a good friend of mine always had a cup of hot water at the activities club I ran, rather than tea or coffee. I couldn't understand it at the time but I do now.
Mhags, I had hoped Haggis would make it in at some stage, so very pleased about that, and big yays for therapy dogs and music therapy too.
'Sticky chicken is so last month' ... that made me literally laugh out loud BoP.
1. Extra time to do things as I got banned by FB for 3 days for videoing a song...
2. Making pizzas from low cost flatbreads with DGC. (250g flour, 100g yogurt, milk to bind, baking powder, salt. Minimal kneading, roll 1/4 in thick in to a circle for the red hot fry pan. Quick zap both sides).
3. Declutter of various bits and pieces to DGC and DD.
4. Mum in Law may be a character in the new series of Peaky Blinders. May, no promises as yet.
5. Odd sort of pleasure, but DD came across a picture of her father as he is now on FB. He looked pretty much as I expected, at 72. It was a summer pic, so suspect it was taken on his 72nd birthday last year.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
1. Elder son passed his driving theory test
2. Younger son arrived safely in Prague
3. Elderly pooch is well and happy and no puddles on the floor
4. Very satisfying snooze this afternoon
5. Weather still horrid but I'm warm and dry and don't need to go anywhere0
