    1. Visited MIL yesterday to try and find all the financial stuff that social services want when DH has a phone interview with them this week. I think all the information was found..

    2. DH cousin arrived while we were at MIL and was lovely seeing her again. It was starting to get tense with MIL as we both have problems with her negativity.

    3. Had a walk round Wisley. Much needed to relax and talk to DH.

    4. When we arrived home DH continued with the decorating and I went into the garden and had a bonfire.

    5. Dinner had been cooking in the slow cooker so was easy to prepare especially as DS2 cooked the vegetables.
  • MHAGS M'dear things in life are sometimes very trying indeed and you are the spirit of dignity when it comes to dealing with this most difficult of situations, when you feel at lowest ebb love we are still in spirit right there with you, you're collectively in my thoughts during the waking hours, just pop in once in a while and I wonder how you all are doing? I know I'm not the only one either I suspect we all do it and we're all there beside you too, giving you unseen support and caring because that's how family works, even online families, be strong sweetie, you'll do!

Thank you for sharing your day with us Mhags what memories to treasure, gentle blessings to you all.

    Some pleasures for the weekend,

Going back to bed after an early start with Tilly dog, she is feeling very 'unnecessary ' at the moment and acting erratically.

Went to the Abbey with DB, team came back from 0-2 down and we got the three points.

Rehomed three books that were heading to the CS, now have a nice stack next to the bed, always feel better to have a large queue waiting for me.

Picked up DN from city, at 6ft 3 he just about fitted in my mini.

Catching up on the Archers, like others have been affected by similar issues so hard listen at times.

Sorted out some pots and did a general garden tidy, unfortunately this included disposal of a dead rabbit!

Lazy sunday afternoon, finished off yummy truffles.

Don't know if anyone here intervened on &behalf, but Mse towers have at last asked for &'s IP address. Still banned via desktop, but not from mob., which - in its turn - is still only patchily recharging.

    1. Thanks to all for thoughts, words expressed here, to and from mhags, when & can't connect/communicate.

    2. Early out yday, but daylight-ish, even c.6h

    3. Listening right now to poetry read by Elaine Feinstein, surprising author(think of her otherwise, academically) local themes, town of gown, very telling. Perfectly voiced.

    4. Glad of HC after early car boot hunt'n' not-much-gather yesterday. Crowded out though. Suddenly recalled Rowley fine arts qtrly auction: tmrw? Yes. Must look today.

    5. Took self off straight after Church yday, well almost. Played safe with rugby club tea towels and beermats as grey skies arrived, cold, threatening. They hadn't heard opposing forecasts. Needed one of &'s big spaces......found it ploughed. Okay though and listening now to Artsy Start the Week is balm for world madness.

Writing this with a tear stained face, my lovely husband has written the most beautiful letter to our children that I will give them once he's gone.

We are just about to go for a trip round the ward before bedtime. My pull down bed is all made up and my freshly laundered jimjams sit atop!

Kids all piled in this afternoon, we all had tea at the dining table in the lounge. DD1 had made some tuna pasta and brought that in.

My sister had messaged to see how we were , so a quick selfie of 5 was taken and sent. Wonderful modern technology. Keeping us in constant touch across the world.

    The kindness of staff.

The kindess of you all with your lovely supportive messages. Thank you all.

    Night x

  • 5 Jenny, coming up for her fifth birthday, see last weekend pink ticking in the Nurff is being tested to the limits today. Just hope her loose wire is ok otherwise it’s a rip her out job, pull the wires out and a new one! Come to think of that, she also sends :heartpuls to the needy. More later!
4 Back at the mill and the waters are choppy this morning. Seems we let the cat out last week and his tales have been of woe. Still I got hold of the whip and I’ll tell you now, I only have to show it to get the effect. Work has returned to normal. And would you believe it, if not treats have appeared at the mill and homemade cake is being shared!
3 Now BoP who does proper foods, and last night we had tikka of chicken pieces, homemade fresh and good for you, well enjoyed by the current BoPsie, of coming up thirty years wed, see more this weekend!, has through her ignorance, forgot to put the cakes of Jaffa into my lunch box. It will not happen again! And BoP is not talking tickling pink either! Now on that subject, BoPsie made the ham and cheese sandwiches yesterday and BoP is worried that her prescription from the optical people is wrong. I got the slices of cheese, special ones, and put them inn the refrigerator, there being just enough room with the thing filled with wobbleade, and if she did not cut up the mature cheddar instead! Note to readers, cheese does not need refrigeration.
2 Morrow BoP is on big train up Nurff for meeting with client. Usual rules apply, we are correct and if you disagree, please refer to my previous. Food will be provided! Of course food will be second rate compared to my offering!
And if you thought that was bad, please always think of those who are in need :heartpuls Your little problem is really not that important after all. Well, most are, my missing Jaffa cakes take the biscuit!
Can someone please send BoP pennies so he can buy his own Cakes of Jaffa!
