If only, Frith, I have 2 days to go....
1. Sunshine!
2. Took DD and a friend to an indoor play place to use vouchers I'd 'won' on a silent auction. They had a great time and I managed to plan 3 lessons for September
3. Picked up USD$ for our holiday - MUST find my passport....eek!
4. Fabulous picnic by the river, and free parking.
5. Good chat with DD's friend's mum, who joined us for the picnic.0 -
Sorry, Kittikins, we finished Thursday/Friday. Not long to go now, though.0
-
Dollars? You are coming to the States Kittikins?
I need to have my passport renewed. That reminds me.Overprepare, then go with the flow.

KK is trotting cross the 'oggin!
5 Kitchen disaster. No way was BoP to blame. Chopped up snorkers and cheese for finger kebabs las eve, and we're right out of finger kabob sticks. Ended up inn a bowl and a free for all. Luckily, as we were dangerously depleted inn the refrigerator, wobbleades were scoured, and sticky chicken pieces, home made not ordained in the emporium, were also cooked. Wobbleades were consumed. And Summer Holiday was watched. I know, you missed it!
4 And inn the kitchen yesterday for breakfast, BoP could not decide how his grilled toms would be cut, so I had a variety. Top scored, star cut and halved. Topped with sage, pepper and garlic. Rubs Tum. Snorkers, best back, buttered toast and marmite, poached egg and mushrooms were eaten. Rubbing of Tum occurred after proper loose tea and milk. Jaffa cakes were opened. Jaffa cakes were finished,
3 This morning woke up to see the world again and had dippy eggs, with buttered marmite soldiers. Another disaster occurred. BoP, after having his buzzard last week, is clean out of jam! Yes you got that correct. Chicken raids with jam. You know you want to, but have not. You gave turkey with cranberry sauce! Pork with apple sauce. Why not! There you go. More culinary notes by BoP. So this morn, no jam on buttered toast! No Tum was Rubbed!
2 Just off to emporium w8rs for free paper, £2.50 off shop and all the food to feed a horse and Raffles for the week. Punters will be observed. Lone blondes will be ignored. Don't tell BoPsie, she is active in this area!
Another day on this earth and what have you done
Edit.
Just for mila
Oooh PK. Better OUT than ,,,0 -

Normals resumptied in this Land of Low-No connectivity i.e. &posts disappearing. Most annoying, as usual.
Try again &, and just who is that crispy-skinned persona you see before you?
After whole day in sea at Sandown[off early a.m. ferry from France earlier this week] sun reflected off surface to wreak total mirror burn on & face.
Porpoise leapt twice not 10 metres from &. We were both swimming out beyond the beacon pole. Family on shore captured one leap on film.
& facial skin now crumpling off. Lovely indeed. & does not burn or peel normally, just tans.

1. First time ever, have seen my frogS, plural - TWO - in same crate of sludgy water way down back, where semi-conscious plants revive[or decide not to] Pics taken. At long last, this proof of ongoing population delights me.
2. A great rainbow just now, after maybe 103 splodges of pluie and & out in it.
3. Plant re-potting and resuscitation continued. Much required after being in NZ since mid-May, then away in ma France, la belle.
4. Friday night, listening to Blowers while idling on &putah...and, all of a sudden, tkt bought for:

Should be lubbley; can manage this one.
Now, & also adores Dylan Moran and appreciates his email inviting her to one of these:

5. Not long finished my new2me Pel book. Was astounded and pleased to find one under the mitre window [pic 4] here:

Lots of grandmother memories here, too.
& is a Pel completist and multiple buyer, as she has long been for Stephen Lister.

1. In preparation for our holiday, DH got the sewing machine out, and created some straps for the car, ferret bedding from offcuts of materials we’ve picked up over the years, and fixed one of my tops and one the maxi dresses. Very talented.:o
2. I had a pork roast joint out from the freezer yesterday, to do the full works today – proper comfort food, and using the heat of the oven to cook through some sausages for tomorrow.:D
3. Traditional grilled bacon rolls this morning but the rolls where old rtc, so I tried to dry fry them and it worked alright.
4. Butterflies on the buddleia and bumble bees everywhere.
5. When it cooled a little I dug over and tidied the planting area of the greenhouse ready for when I need to put the plants in there for the watering system. I’ve had to lay some ant traps, and used old containers to bury them, cut a hole in the top and put in old beer where we are saving the bottle but don’t like “beer” as the slugs and snails decimated a lot of things this year in a takeover bid and whatever we use has to be animal friendly to our guys. BTW Ampersand the first of your strawberry plants provided some lovely strawberries today.0
