  • Going away for the weekend and you're stuck in traffic. No worries, post your picture here so we can all have a laugh as you get steamed up. I'll be drinking wobbleade in the Bridge! It has free internet access!

5 The fire is lit inn the Brdige, happy days. Wobbleade has been sourced. The river is a little up, although the expected biblical floods have not happened. Weather apps are competing with bongs of warnings of varying colours. Fortunately the bridge to Beachey is now closed to caravans! And one was removed from the pool yesterday as well!

3 This morning BoP had egg flip disaster! Air Burst! Breakfest was Double snorkers, best back, tons of mushrooms, toast, toms and fried egg. Although we had an air burst and a missed flip! Washed down with tea!

4 Watching NZ at cricket. Oh no, looks like we should pack our bags later, it will save embarrassment!

2 Night, later on inn the bridge, BoP would have had far too much and will be picked up and deposited inn his bed. Other refreshments are available!

Get rid of the traffic lights, and let's create chaos!
  • 1) Packing finished!!!

    2) Skype with that Zebra.

    3) Cinnamon buns fresh from the oven for breakfast (intend to consume many more of these during our stay).

    4) House is clean and ironing done so a relaxed afternoon planned.

    5) Out to the pub for supper tonight, table booked and no washing up afterwards, Oh YES!!!

Busy week in the VickyA household, being the last week of term. I helped at the local schools' dance showcase thing, had the last Rock Choir of the term, went out with a friend for dinner, etc etc.

    Pleasures:

    1) Had our March meeting for my cake club, of which I'm now a co-organiser. For the write up, please see here: http://clandestinecakeclub.co.uk/stamford-ccc-spring-fling/

    2) Cleaned out the food cupboard yesterday, 6 years after we moved in. Quite embarrassing what I've got rid of (quantity and age..) but hopefully we can start again. Not old style, as it's a waste, I realise but a necessary evil.

    3) Paid my credit card bill. Looked at one transaction and thought "what the ****?" as it only says the place I live... then I realised that it was a payment for petrol. Rats!

    4) Out for a meal with a friend. She had a £10 voucher... They took the money off the bill and told us to keep the voucher for next time.

    5) Taken some books down to the charity shop. Our bookshelves don't look as though they've been touched, but some is better than none...

They have indeed! The first arrived back on 17th March and last Monday we did a class project about the ospreys. I believe Blue 24 is originally a Rutland one!!

Happiest of Happy Easters to you all. I am just in from work had a very busy shift ( one more big day to do then it's off for my BIG a day on Tuesday )

Nice drive home , roads were quiet, trees are changing colour and I was singing my heart out to Miss Saigon.

I had chocolate today, it was nice ! DD1 has just nipped out to her work to see about a shift change....do you want anything? Oooooh get me a creme egg please .....they will be half price after tomorrow , just wait till then .....noooooo I need one now!

We will have an Easter egg hunt later, we will have a chicken and veggie dinner and a pavlova for pudding ...once I can summon up the energy to do it!

Have a lovely day , Mrs LW have a safe trip and enjoy yourselves.

Wishing everyone a Peaceful, Blessed and Very Happy Easter x
  • Eggs, shattered! Bunnies, tailless. What, it is Chocolate Day! Rubs Tum!

5 The exiledmeggie is now up and running. It is a net thing, so it is as about as much nonsense as this storm. Weather apps are still competing for the direst forecast of impending doom! No, it is going to rain, it is March. It Happens!

4 Last night watched Engerland. No, the ills of Lyon and June 14th 1970 have not gone. The press seem to think the engraver should be putting the name on the tin pot! I would not sharpen my steel just yet. Wobbleade was used as well.

3 Oh, and the usual Saturday night treats of Sticky Chickens. Rubs Tum.

Never can have 2 much chocolate. Enjoy. Though I have menmtioned in this parish about avoiding the emporiums, good day today as they are shut. But emporium T has got another fleece up its dirty arms to garner more money of people. They have made up names for they carp foods not. Remember, avoid. Our spend in T this year is still less than £10. Every little hurts.

    The packaging hides the badness!
