2) Washing has dried outside on the line today.
3) Met Rupert on our walk, Rupert is a donkey sized labradoodle and a 10 year old puppy, he's wonderful.
4) A really nice walk in the lanes and footpaths today, the birdsong was beautiful and we saw so many different species of bird, all busy and bustling about.
5) I walked past a bank covered in fully open celandines and daffodils all shining bright in the sun, so pretty.0 -

McHags sounds like a fun journey to and fro but worth it for Dawn French.
A mix for this week as the lurgy/flu has descended on us.
1. I had an interview earlier this week went well. I’m hoping to hear good news.
2. I am so so glad we have stock from the previous week of soups, yoghurts, and actimel as they have been staples for fluid, DH is in a very bad way but his temp has come down today and I am plying us with fluids,
3. Looking into the possibility of a ceiling mount for a tv in the bedroom, we don’t have either at the moment but it would have stopped dh from going stir crazy with the bug.
4. On the bright side Tues to today NSD / NPD's.:)0 -
Get well soon, PK's DH. And PK!
Pleasures for today:
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) OK day at work.
3) Managed to do 20 minutes of coursework this afternoon.
4) Brother phoned and he has put up poles and wires for raspberries on the allotment (I haven't had time to go all week!)
5) Bigger son had good fun on his second and final community action day. They had a bonfire of all the prunings and clippings they made yesterday.
6) Quite a tasty tea of lots of roasted veg, broccoli and Quorn pies (aka using up everything in the fridge).
7) Enjoyed Gogglebox then the Last Leg.
8) In bed with 1 hwb (where is the other??) and about to listen to the Now Show.0 -
OK let's try this
1) I used my breadmaker today and made a scrummy loaf.
2) wacked open all my Windows to let some fresh air into the house even though I'm ill. Just wrapped myself up in a duvet.
3) made a gorgeous chicken and paprika stew in the slow cooker and put loads of portions in the freezer for days when shifts don't allow me to cook.
4) made my own mini trifles cheap using sachet jelly some sponge fingers and proper home made custard.
5) admired my new bathroom and polished the taps (again!!)Slimming World - SW 156 - CW 152.5 GW 133 - 19.5 lbs to go

A frosty and foggy day blossomed into a warm, sunny spring day, absolutely gorgeous and makes the heart lift.
Did a ninja shop, armed with list, in and out of Mr W within 20 minutes and it was busy :rotfl:
Drove into Cambridge for hair cut, good chat with my hairdresser about United's chances of promotion and Spurs chances of winning title.
Popped in a fav patisserie for a choc muffin but shared with Captain Scarlet when got home so played nicely.
Time in the afternoon sunshine with Sir Bill.
Pizza and beer watching latest Happy Valley and then enjoyed Goggle Box.0 -
5 Hot stuff brewing for tea, it is the time of the week for Sticky Chickens. Recipe was provided inn the parish last week!
4 BreakFest was Snorkers, best back, toast, mushrooms, fried tatties and 5 egg Scram Boiled Eggs. Nice and fluffy, light. You see, it would had been a light BreakFest, but you knows! Rubs Tum.
3 Just watching the Jocks as they compete for the wooden spoon in the cricket. Well done to Afghanistan!
2 Day had the campaigners round for the local elections, Raffles sorted them out! Saw them off.
