Relax, BoP is on. Now read this
5 Wonderful news has arrived at BoP's abode. Offers in excess of 7 guineas a week, and on headed paper from the emporium of t. How wonderful that I can go into their maze of nothings and take money off them. Problem is they wish me to spend about £7 more than my weekly allowance I give to BoPsie for doing so. Now used as a lighter for the fire. Flames and burning well. Turned into instant heat!
4 Could not for the life of me understand how I was getting a little tad warm last eve. Though BoPsie was feeling the pressure of being so in love with her BoP, but no. This had fur. Blooming Raffles was laid out across the back of BoP. He would not budge, you realise he is a cat. And cats sleep, you feed them, they sleep on. Dynamite would not budge him!
3 Was wobbleaded last eve by BoPsie. She is tooo good to her BoP. Rubs Tum!
2 Oh, nearly forgot. Guess where BoP was at the weekend. Clues given in earlier ramblings of BoP!
Sun will rise, early inn the morning!0 -

A day of weird ones.
1. I received a call to say my interview tomorrow is “postponed”:(, so I hoovered and cleaned the house from top to bottom, I was miffed. But the house is cleaner, and 2 loads of animal bedding washed.:rotfl:
2. DH took me out to pay a few cheques in and that was a lesson learned, Monday lunchtime and banks don’t mix. Then one of the cheques issued from a company to DH was illegible so has to be re-issued. But the pleasure is no parking payments as DH was able to drop off and then he picked me up and we pondered over the bridge to Costco.
3. We had a savvy shop and DH also reigned me in a little, i.e. there are things we need that can wait a few weeks, but we popped over for things we do actually need.:o
4. The moon looks really lovely tonight, I can see it from the sofa and I keep staring out.
5. We shopped around and found the bits to fix the car at the best possible price, so a rather spendy day.
6. Sitting here with a camomile tea and Lewis is on - content.:)0 -
Some pleasures for today,
Woke up with bad sinus pain, pleasure was Captain Scarlet taking the girls out for their morning walk so I could stay in bed for extra hour.
Popped into emporium for some tablets and picked up some YS steak.
Second interview went well and two hours later received email offering me the job :j:j
Long chat with my Mum, she is coming to stay next weekend.
Went to full up bird seed on table by torchlight and caught little mouse having his supper, don't know who was more shocked.0 -
Pleasures for today:
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) Work was fair to middling.
3) Had yesterday's tea warmed up for my lunch.
4) Went to the charity shops after work and got a Star Wars T shirt for bigger son, an M and S long sleeved shirt for me (useful underneath tunic tops in this weather), a stripy shirt then a pink lambswool M and S jumper that said "New" on the label. Got it home and had to spend 20 minutes sewing up holes where the sleeve joins on!
5) Healthy eating started up again after the weekend. :-/
6) Went swimming with sons (brother still ill) and swam..... 75 lengths!
7) In bed now with 1 hwb and about to listen to the radio.0 -
Evening all
DforV - hope you are on the mend. Love the tales of your sons
Skint - no talking for 6 weeks  couldn't do it....
Best of luck to all the job hunters

3. Managed not to instigate divorce proceedings when trying to choose and fill in photos on photo book offer i found on MSE before christmas. OH then discovered he'd already printed many of the photos we have just put in the book  Oh well it would have made the divorce easier on the ownership of photos front :rotfl:
4. Stopped and listened to a very lively little robin having a chat with another somewhere - very loud and chirrupy
5. The sea - I bloody love the sea
6. Took DS out for a curry when we got home. he had spent most of the weekend alone so was quite chatty
7. Out for lunch today for OH's 35 year long service do. Jamie's Italian - Rubs tumPaid for by employer - even better. No wine though, probably sensible

10. OH's long service present was a PS4 (given to DS - he just couldn't find anything else) it came in a mahoosive box. it is a family joke that all my brother wanted one christmas was a big empty box. Of course i had to climb into it.Got stuck and it tipped up. Evidence on facebook for those who can see it....:rotfl: Well this is OS pleasures
