Sorry to hear about the comp reverbe, hope it gets fixed soon. Good to hear from you anyway
wssla00 I know what you mean by being in a cleaning mood, I procrastinate for ages then everything in my way gets washed, dusted, vac'ed, polished, scrubbed, laundered...they say if you stand still while I'm in that mood you'll end up 3 shades lighter!
10 eggs jex?! Brilliant girlies! Pleased you've got all covers covered, may it be the start of a great season :j
Oh no, not snow/sleet in Pompey CCP . My Yorks friend has it there too, I'm right in the middle but thank goodness haven't seen any yet. Plenty of April showers today though
So pleased things are better for OH niksyg, have a great weekend and hope your hosta thrives (my dd's name too)
nuttybabe I'm so jealous! Vanning and the net, never had that when I used to go - it would have been so much more fun when ex OH had his head in a book all weekend
GirlySquare lucky you to have family to house sit, it can be a worry leaving everything for a week or more.
What a lovely day you and DD had Kittikins, shame about the rain but you certainly found the silver lining :T
Porridge is just right for these cold, blowy mornings ACEY, please may I borrow your DS because I'd love breakfast in my warm, snug bed while listening to the rain on the windows. Lucky you
My 5 -
1. DSiL is coming on Sunday to fix the leak under the sink :jIf anyone can he can, he's got the knack of that sort of thing. So relieved
2. Did 2 loads of washing with a bowl under the leaking pipe, and didn't flood the kitchen
3. Tried a tiny amount of vinegar in place of fabric softener. Phew! Am hoping the fresh air will blow the 'Hint of Chippie' perfume away when I hang it out in the morning :rotfl: Otherwise it'll all be washed again, so my new super duper economy, elec/water saving wm won't be
4 Collected the hot cross buns from the baker and ate them buttered while they were still warm Delicious!
5. Tired enough to sleep all night, so
Night night (((everybody))) sleep well and enjoy the rest of the Easter weekend

10 eggs, Jexy? Wow, those girls of yours have really been going for it!
Hope things get sorted soon, Reverbe, we miss you!
My 5 for yesterday:
1. Nice long lie-in. I don't get much chance for those and it was lovely to sleep in late. The cats didn't approve, but hey...
2. New season The Mentalist plus other favourite crime dramas in the evening.
3. Rare day off from the gym - as being a gym bunny doesn't come naturally to me, I appreciated this!
4. Unexpected phone call from a lovely friend in the evening. We've arranged to meet up on Monday.
5. Finding out that one of my favourite charities is running a novel-writing workshop here in Bristol, with half the costs going to the charity. Off now to sign up...Life is not a dress rehearsal.0 -
Had a lovely day yesterday:-
1. Saw my first spring lambs in a field whilst driving to:-
2. A farm (free entry) where DGD and DGS could hold the chicks and -
3. View newborn lambs at close quarters.
4. Sat all afternoon doing things with some yarn and a crochet hook while -
5. DH made apple and mint chutney :T this is the man who cooked his first ever breakfast only last Saturday. Progress is being made.
Bella.A man's life consisteth not in the abundance of things which he possesseth. Luke 12 v 150 -
Morning Everyone,
Still waking up at 5am despite no work or taking DD to swimming:mad: Got up at 6am and made use of the Economy 7 to do some washing and drying:money:Niksyg - hope you have had an uneventful night. Wave to us as you drive over Spaghetti Junction!
Had a lovely day yesterday doing nothing in particular......
1. Finally made a Dorset Apple Cake. Chose this recipe as I had all the ingredients, but there are loads on the internet. It even survived an extra half hour in the oven as I was late back from the shops:o
2. Trip to shops to buy birthdaycard. Met two friends as I lingered outside CS. Hopefully they will think I am really popular and know loads of people!
3. Made some more Laundry Gloop from a soap on a roap which has been cluttering up the bathroom for ages.
4. Took up two pairs of jeans for DH. Now he has two new pairs, and I have brownie points.
5. Took DS2 to see 'How to Train your Dragon' last night. Used our £1 tickets from the offer in the MSE newsletter, so only cost £7.80 for the three of us to see 3D film:cool: We took our own snacks of course!!
I now have a huge list of things to do this holiday, so off to make a start. May have to try a bit of Apple cake first
Happy Easter:A0 -
