Ha! I know where the sun is .....its in Melbourne and it's still shining and to be evern hotter tomorrow and Tuesday 32o Yoiks!

Busy, busy day! We took more money than last year which is good for business if not for my sore feet! Worked 12 hour shift.

Just in , went for a cold drink with main colleague and other main-ish colleague! Had a debriefing ( mini moanette!) as we sat outside in the sun scoffing chips . I'd a diet coke! Cheap date :)

Wearily walked to train station, knowing that if a train was coming I did not have the energy to run...but only had 8 minutes to wait for one. DD2 came up and met me at station and carried a bag of pansies for me....I must remember to soak them tonight and get them planted tomorrow.

Cool shower....first one of the season when I get the water as cold as I can bear!

Just waiting on my boys coming home, DSL has been cycling and OH and Haggis dropped him off and picked him back up.....because they're nice like that.

I think I might stay awake long enough to watch Casualty and then zzzzzz early to bed.

Only one more day to work. New cook type person is going to do alternate Sunday's but wants to be in sync with his girlfriends day off.....so he's going to do the next 2 Sunday's to get in line! Yes! 2 off for me in a row.....means less pay but I shall manage :)

    Have a lovely Sunday :)
  • 1) Super trip to West Dean College yesterday afternoon to their 'Apple Affair' where they have an amazing walled garden with succession houses and gorgeous perennial borders that are filled with Michaelmas daisies at this time of year. Came home with a bag of assorted old variety apples to enjoy over the next week.

    2) Sausages from a very good local maker for supper last night and some cold left over for my supper tonight.

    3) Changed the beds today and got all the washing that needed doing washed too, all out on the line blowing in the breeze, fab.

    4) He Who Knows has made me a ground feeding station for birds like blackbirds and robins who prefer feeding low, he's adapted an old piece of square guttering we were given to make a trough for seeds, mealworms, berries etc.

    5) Enjoying the last day of this run of Indian Summer days we've had of late, so a nice long Cookie walk on the cards after lunch and a quiet evening with candles and music on reading my kindle, magic!
  • Well total duvet weekend. And BoP is not joking either. Yesterday, BoPsie, who winds up the Tom and Jerry edition alarm clock, with bells, forgot to do so!

5 Fantastic lie in on Saturday. Zzzzzzzzzz. You know you should had done the same!

4 By missing the alarm, thanks to BoPsie, missed getting my fish and chips in Steels and seeing the Matiners! Tough this life.

3 And as it is a lazy BoP weekend, I have had no time to do snorkel either. No Rubbing of Tummy this weekend.

2 Night we are off out for tea. So there! Now, where's your muvvers!

What's that skippy, you say that the host is out! Ha!

    4. Painting this afternoon with DD.

    5. Had an impromptu day of messing about with DD yesterday, as we turned up to her school a week early for the open day! Oops.... :)

    BoP inn the Bridge Live.

Thirst date opposite. He claims to work on the railway. Driver. No BoP reckons buffet steward. Just came out with classic comment. I am not for staying. I am not loyal, you have to change every so often.

Guess those are the wrong words.

Ok Thirst Ratings left together. BoP sits. Opposite Pugging Bandit. Has pictorial of ex radio breakfast DJ on it. Good job BoPsie is better view
