KITTIKINS I've got a recipe for Kannelbullar but made with a scone style mix rather than a yeasted dough. Pretty close to the real thing and take 20 minutes so you could(only if you wanted to though) make them fresh for breakfast. Would be happy to pm it to you if you wanted, Lyn xxx.0

Kittikins - Herbert Art Gallery was where my first ever archaeological dig was organised from! Like the market and cathedral. (MrB's residence so know it quite well).0

And relax.
5 Raffles, still off his special food, has bought home two starlings, a thrush, a shrew and a pigeon. Unfortunately, there are no survivors. Now he has decided to attack the feather duster. I fear the worse! It will not be long!
4 Tonight we had fired Tom prawns, home cured not pre glazed nitro food from the emporium. Served with sole, mushy peas. Washed down with juice.
3 Oh bum. Not too good start. In Arsene we trust. PM 2DD. Maybe next season, dear!
2 Morning BoP is back in the south for winter.
Did you pass on that?0 -
Mrs LW I would be very interested in the Kannelbullar recipe also.
Some for Sat.
1.I have re tidied up messy clothes are now tidy again I quite enjoy doing it as I remind myself what isn’t needed.
2.Soaked and varnished finger and toe nails.
3.We are trying to clear bits out via e of the bay, DH sold 2 things I dropped them to the post office and had to come home and re pack as the box used took it from 3.90 to 15!!!! I should have checked I’m not used to selling things. A lot of things to get on ebay to clear out the spare / junk room must plough through it as so much to shift.
4.We visited the in laws in the afternoon, quite a trek but we always enjoy their company, they loaded us up with runner beans, courgettes and 3 bags of paper for the animals, and we loaded them up with 3 bags of cat stuff that had been cluttering so swapped useful clutter lol…..
Sun
1.By the time we get back from the inlaws it’s the wee hours and even longer after the animals have let off some steam. So we didn’t rush to get up.
2.We did ponder to Lidl for the half price chicken meal offer as we will freeze it and take it with is for the week away
3.I cleaned the bathroom with a mix of cif for bath and shelves, vinegar and paper for mirrors and hoovered up, cleaner than it was thankfully but it was a bit half hearted
4.New potatoes, fresh veg and a Lidl half price chicken bbq thing for tonight’s food.0 -
Quite a busy day today:
1) Sons off with their father for the morning so was meant to do some washing and tidying up. Phoned my school friend for an hour instead!
2) Tasty breakfast of eggy bread and blueberries.
3) Forgot to mention yesterday that the bakers at Ironbridge's Victorian Town were closing and gave us a load of handmade bread rolls! So we had those for lunch today (as tuna sandwiches).
4) Went to local National Trust place this afternoon. The owner has left now so instead of being a great hall and gallery open to the public, there are now 7 more rooms! Also an excavation going on so had a look at that.
5) Mum and dad's for tea and lots of drone flying and table tennis. Smaller son continues to improve, just needs help in the bath now.
6) About to listen to the Archers.0 -
pm to bop come now we can't be downhearted from one draw.
dry all day and
1) washing dried on line
2) got the lawn cut
3) lovely bbq with slimming club as fundraiser for cancer research
4) nice walk round the reservoir

1. The offer of a scrumptious recipe
2. Sunshine!
3. Have decided to put my weight behind (ha ha!) the alternate fasting malarkey....tomorrow is my first fast day
4. Have arranged to go to a chum's for dinner on a eat what you like day, I'm not daft!
5. NSD/NPD
6. DD and I enjoyed playing card and Yahtzeee type games out in the sunshine this afternoon.
7. We also 'enjoyed' trying our hands at the new sample SPAG KS2 test....hmm...I thought I was blooming good at grammar, but it was rather tricky and I dropped 5 marks on the paper. Anyway, hopefully I will be able to step out of the no doubt inevitable staff meeting when we'll have to do it in September, and will be able to get on with some other work at that time - with the Deputy aiming to beat my score (fat chance!)
8. Enjoyed opening my parcel of new sandals and ankle boots (to cover all weathers) bought with a huge discount. I now must not buy any more footwear for a very long time.....as my hooves will be well-covered!

Catching up having been MIA - a pleasure in itself!
Pleasures for last few days:
1. Surprises and kindness from friend I haven't met - wonderful words still running round my head!
2. Ds and DD3 back from their dads - normal chaos resumes - but house feels wonderfully crazy again!
3. Garden under control again - not very MSE but paid a gardener to get on top of some big jobs that I let slip while studying - not too expensive and worth every penny - secret now is to keep it under control!!
4. Kitchen cupboards cleaned and organised (driven by necessity not desire!) but a job well done all the same!
5. Several valuable lessons learned this weekend0 -

For yesterday
1) A beautiful warm sunny day here and lots of birdsong this morning.
2) The sight of a Jackdaw flapping madly and being blown sideways by the wind, poor thing was making no forward progress at all and flapping like crazy and being carried along at a rate of knots in the wrong direction, so funny to see!
3) More chutney made, less tomatoes to tackle (until I pick again this evening that is)
4) Offer of windfall apples from a friend who has an apple tree that isn't picked, have now processed so many that the furrows in my fingers(used to be wrinkles) now have furrows of their own. 10 gallons of juice pressed to date and going 'blurp' in the fermentation vessles.
5) Lovely skype with DD2 and the Zebra child who is learning new words by the day and todays was PUPPY! He can also now scoot himself along on his sit and ride bee we got him for Christmas, getting to be a big boy!0
