    1. Decluttering and rearranging wardrobe KonMari style (find it soothing for some reason?)
    2. A big bowl of porridge for breakfast
    3. Phoning a friend and having the time to chat instead of rushing as usual
    Looking ahead

Not been on for a few days.Hopefully I'll catch up with all the posts.

    Recent pleasures.

    - a walk by the lake yesterday with a friend. There are still four cygnets ,which is great, and they look slightly bigger.Had a nice blood orange sorbet whilst down there.

    -sunny weather,blue skies,though very windy.

-had a few days off from running and swimming as feeling tired.Hopefully back in the saddle today.

-helped out at the bookstall yesterday.

-bought four kilos of rhubarb for stewed rhubarb and mainly jam making.

-had a really good sleep last night and not woken up even once by the blinking cat.

judi need to say no to the HM meal and tablet?
    Sad about the baby bunnies.

    1. Apart from taking the dog out for a walk I have not been out of the house today and thats good because the car has not moved hence no money spent :)

    2. Had another Kondo-ing sesssion on the house, cleared out the under stairs cupboard, couple of drawers in the kitchen, bagged up stuff for the CS tomorrow and feel somewhat freer for it. :)

    3. Cleaned the inside of the house windows today, not too bad, but I like clean sparkly windows so that makes me happy.

    4. House is clean and tidy and I was happy when I came down this morning to see it all clean and not allot to do - probably put me in the mood for having a few clear-outs!

    5. I intend to put my feet up tonight after dinner. I deserve it I think. NSD on zilcho not even fleabay - how good am I :D
Cat, Dogs and the Horses are our fag and beer money :D
  • 1) A trip to town for supplies for the weekend and a successful shop for Zebra 1 x toy JCB, 1 x toy crane and 1 x toy cement mixer from charity shops and a lovely bath towel for when he's here with turtles on it.

    2) Local greengrocer had bowls of clementines for £1 a bowl, huge amount and Zebra loves them

    3) Docky dogs added medication seems to be helping with pain levels, he hasn't scratched at his muzzle for 24 hours now, we might, just might be able to get it to heal.

    4) Recreation ground full of youngsters playing football and tennis, free, good exercise and good to see it being used.

    5) Beautiful gardens in the village when we walked, azaleas and rhododendrons, aquilegia, early roses and masses of wisteria to enjoy, so we did!
  • Oh no, stuck in SparraLands. No, POETS Day tomorrow! :heartpuls And the beat goes on.

No curry on Thursday but salad and boiled egg. Last nite before bulldozing through Poxford on way home! It is either that or Swindle Town! Catch up to morrow.

You were not born a winner, nor a loser. You cannot change the start. But, you can choose your ending.

    Good evening everyone :hello:

I love reading everyone's pleasures. Lovely to hear about the things which people do and where they go; I'm just a bit nosey, I suppose. :D

    So, my pleasures for today:

    1) Had a deal on my credit card - spend a minimum of £20 in Boots and get £5 back. Needed a few things anyway (had checked prices against other stores) and managed to get the £5 credit AND 200 bonus Boots Advantage Card points. Martin has nothing on me. :rotfl:

    2) Donated a few items to the charity shop, having taken books off my shelves. I was ruthless, working through things I wouldn't read again.

    3) Having had the money sitting in my account for a while for a set of garden furniture, the opportunity to spend it arrived today when I discovered that M&S have 40% off all garden furniture for 4 days. So, I've saved a pretty penny, kept it within budget AND have £18+ pending in my TopCashback account. Oh, and the points on my credit card too. :D

    4) Read my book. Actually, I also resisted buying a book when I popped into town. There was one in a charity shop that keeps popping up as a suggestion on Amazon. However, I still have loads of unread books. I know the charity would welcome my donation, but on this occasion I kept the money in my pocket.

    5) Watched another film, whilst trying to do school work, from my Amazon Instant Video account. Pure trash, but it's one that DH would have never have watched EVER! There have to be some perks! :D

It has changed a lot - I was born in Lanark and live not too far now. Of course they get tourists now going to New Lanark to the refurbished mills. Nice day out ..

    1. The lovely present I've bought for a friend from E&&a Bridgewater on a 30% discount deal is on its way :)

    2. Am back at said friend's flat with DD having another 'staycation' whilst she's away :)

    3. Have had such larks with DD today, racing lorries off the lights, enjoying the sunshine and we bumped into one of her old teachers and had a natter.

    4. M&$ were handing out lots of foodie freebies and so strawberries and meringues and amazing apple juice fell into our basket....well, we are on holiday :) Had to buy the cream later on, didn't want it going off in the back of the car whilst we drove to staycation town!!

    5. Wading through report writing, am hopefully about half way through the non-core subjects :)
