Good to see you OT :)

1 - 10. 10th anniversary of my new life. Swimming this morning, out to celebrate with friends this evening, can't think of a better way to spend the day. And the icing on the cake is the yellow thing which has been shining all day

Have a good rest of the day, hope it's sunny where you are :)

Didn't manage to post this morning.

    1. Brocoli and stilton soup for lunch - homemade and made without a recipe and was very tasty.

    2. Cake at work.

    3. Quick drive today - not caught up in any traffic.

    4. Managed to get some little things done at work which I've been meaning to do for a while.

    5. Long conversation with ds1.
  • Jenny is buzzing on her third anniversary! :heartpuls to all. Just bak from Sparralands, and interview. Crossed fingers. Raffles is running wild because he has had his throat cut! Is ok now, as he has been fed now.

Just out from the emporium, went in for proper tiger, wobbleade, and the amount of feral foods is amaziing. Cheap carp, are you listening Skint. Cheap imported full flavourless carp. What on earth are chicken poppers, anything akin to chicken pox!

Listening to wireless thingy from the Theatre of Fish. PM2DDUTM
  • McHags: Hope the Uni first day was wonderful.
Sparrer: Warm happy days what a lovely post.
Old tractor: You are better than I, I am not sure I would be able to tolerate those neighbours.
    BOP: A well deserved wobbleade.
    1. At 8am the phone rang confirming I’ve got an interview chance next week for the role I’ve had my eye on, very happy.:j:j
    2. Last night DH made a long tube out of saved vanish containers, and now our little disabled animal can make it up the stairs using the ledges in the tube, and what made it all worthwhile is yesterday she found the tube used it successfully multiple times and spent the night sleeping on a fleece under our bed. Very sweet.:o
    3. I haven’t achieved much at all today, DH is unwell but up and resting on the sofa so I didn’t want to make too much noise that’s my excuse :rotfl:so the decorating hasn’t moved on so I will be up early tomorrow so will shift on with it but 2 days behind in our self-made schedule now.
    4. I can’t justify take away tonight having achieved naff all today, so a chicken, veg pasta bake is cooking away, I am missing those RTC's at the moment thou I have to say I may need to venture out tomorrow evening.:p

    5. Re filled all the bird feeders while trying carefully not to squash any snow drops.:)

BoP games knight. Monopoly. Standard rules.

BoPsie has landed on Mayfair. Auction time as BoPsie is short of cash. More news later.

Good auction BoP gets Mayfair for £45.

Auctions are over. BoP has a street, and some cash. BoPsie has been gaol bird twice, but has park lane!

Offered BoPsie £200 for Whitehall mortgaged. Cheap. Two streets now. Builders are on call.

Boards up. Rule check by BoPsie.

Builders have been busy, all houses are built. No hotels.

Bulldozer is out on BoPsie's street. Nearly curtains.

Bulldozer has cleaned up the board. BoP wins, even though BoPsie had the dark blues and greens. BoPsie remains one win away from the chance of two on the pounce!

    5. Met up with her and my parents at Carlooooochyos ;) for dinner, nomnomnom to celebrate.

    6. They took her to buy lots of the sports kit at the uniform shop.

    7. The school very kindly gave her 2 skirts and 4 blouses from the second hand shop :)

    8. Gorgeous sunshine this morning, felt lovely and spring-like

Tired, tired, tired - not sleeping so out of sorts all over the place!!! Didn't post yesterday but need to today!

    1. snow drops on roadside on way to work - pleasures are twofold - spring is springing and my work journey is 3 miles through country roads with snow drops! - and takes 5 mins on a bad day!

    2. Reverend mother recognised signs of stress and did some housework for me yesterday - I don't show my appreciation enough!!!

    3. DS accepted that there will be no BB gun in my house ever with little more that a few tears (no major tantrum and rant which is definitely a pleasure given his history!) Accepted the explanation that its not because I don't trust him (I don't!) but its because I can't cope with responsibility of having a BB gun in the house (which is true!)

    4. DS came up with a way of earning pocket money (and loosing it!) all by himself - created a spread sheet and everything - quite impressed!

    5. Pay day and NSD today!!!
