1. Leaving lunch was nice, just the 6 of us, no one really drinks there so just had a bit of a natter and said bye and thanks just as well we didn’t drink as we had to deal with a panic when we got back. Feels weird I’m all done really but not for over a week yet.
2. Made an effort and feel flattered that people noticed.:o
3. Forgot to food plan this week, had turkey bangers veg and mash it was ok, really need to shop again I have bits and pieces but not a full anything need fruit and veg.:o
4. I went to the bank and all was ok, we love you MSE.:money:
5. Those profiteroles in the freezer just won’t shut up…. Hmmmm might have to get some more for err Christmas. ops:rotfl:0 -
1. New lessWire works but fitfully and no 5LX or light or scrolling prog, info...it will prob. go back as these were things specifically asked about. Venerable previous Sony submitted to old-style local town peeps for old-style probing: £5 fee may yet be worthy investment.
2. Collected fantastic vintage Moschino and one other for Bermondsey ...will it be happening this Fri?...weather-dependent, very.
3. Emporium delight tonight=smoked salmon pâtÉ on offer:2 for £2, but rtc makes each pot 31p. Yum scrum - paws off, Raffles. Love the stuff on seedy toast, mm-mmmmmm!
[and champagne avec, company dependent]
4. Blowing a gale out there, but was good and have just hitched trailer in pitch dark, ready for sort/load 'mare demain. Feel good for having done this.
5. Boris has written something with which & agrees[she's not always where they think. As late and blvd used to say 'rabid leftie somewhere to the right of Attilla The Hun'.] Of course, he's always playing for/eyeing his own main chance, but the words are correct.

-with extra &* for worthy prosody: farage+sewage=farage IS sewage.

Evening all
Five pleasures for Tuesday:
1. Work starting to wind up for the holidays.
2. After an awful night I spent much of the morning and early afternoon in bed snoozing, listening to bits of radio and trying to get better. I think it might have helped - am feeling heaps better tonight.
3. Lots of laughter at the sports session today.
4. We had supper at my parents and ended up staying much longer than intended. Have made plans for visits around Christmas.
5. The hottie I am cuddling right now. Time for bed.
Sweet dreams

Ah, & the only thing Raffles directs is paw to bowl. Dump run carried out, Charity shop dump carried out. Think Raffles is in yard, hope? House chess, still at knight bishop pawn 1.
Other news, cousin's yard has pigeons and cats. He awaits carnage! This morning, it is likely the cats are winning!
Sorry for shortiness and bits, apols to DfV for no snorker and breakfast news, but, you have to see the mess to be ....0 -
Quick 5 as battery almost gone on iPad.
Work, I was busy and stayed on an extra hour will partially make up for the 2 I lost yesterday due to shift change.....much biting of tongue going on at the moment!
DD1 and her best friend came in for lunch and my pleasure .....( as well as seeing them of course, ) was friend went bookshop shopping with DD...she is murder at making a purchase as she's really tight with her money! She was spending birthday book vouchers. Took about half an hour to choose books.
Friend gave us a lift home, so saved a train fare
Watched Holby.
Took DD2 to her appointment...sat and read magazines for an hour.
Made the most delicious macaroni cheese when I came home, everyone had second helpings....apart from DS who had leftover chilli.
Nice walk with OH and dog ( who has eaten another sock....honestly I despair! )
Have a lovely one0 -

1. Shampooed the stairs, all carpets done now. What a shame, I've loved playing with my new toy
2. Gold snowflakes (stick-on type so easy to remove) and bells on inside porch door, stockings hung up. candles in place, stairs bedecked with a garland of holly, ivy, fir cones, robins and lights. Sometimes I curse losing the heat up the stairs, at others, mainly Christmas, I appreciate having them in the sitting room
3. All pet beds washed and drying in the sunshine. Washing machine rinsed out otherwise the next load will be covered in dog and mog hair!
4. House is all clean and shiny as a (nearly) new pin, but I keep seeing something else which needs to be done!
5. Going finish making the napkin rings for Sunday (8 for dinner) then a siesta then get ready for an outing this evening, and tomorrow DB and family all coming for the day.
And breathe....:D0 -
