nuttybabe well done your ds1 :T
jexy and ollie thanks
My five for today:
1) breakfast in bed courtesy dp
2) cuddles from dd this morning (thanks for the lovely comment jexy)
3) easy drive into work
4) text from auntie, she's worried about mum but nothing bad to report
5) half price Dominos pizza for tea using 50% off vouchers and another to freeze"We have to be kind because everyone is fighting a great, great battle" - Sir Richard Attenborough
"There is a special place in hell for women who don't help other women" - Madeleine Albright0 -
Ollie - luckily I don't live in a $ky broadband area, so I'll stick with BeeT as they seem to be the only company that will take us around here - It's not in the wilds or anything, quite a big village, but we don't have cable.
1. DD was inspired by Classic FM to do some beautiful ballet dancing for me when she got out of the bath this morning, she's very graceful, and it was so funny and lovely watching her pirouette around the bath mat, lol.
2. We managed to get the washing on the line before zooming off to school, and yay, it didn't rain today
3. We admired the lovely purple crocuses that have sprouted up on what is euphemistically called the lawn part of the garden, they're so pretty
4. Yummy Thai lunch with a friend, I've been craving Thai food for months and am now nicely satisfied by it....until the next craving
5. Bought mini teddy bear cake tins from L!dl, DD will be so thrilled to have different cakes in her packed lunch next week. Shame I'm going back on the diet on Monday, lol.
6. I've transplanted some dying YS herbs bought from the supermarket ino the back garden and will keep my fingers crossed - mint, thyme and parsley, I think the first two will bounce back, not sure about the parsley as it's a bit less hardy.
7. Best of all, today felt like Friday, nice day at work and tomorrow will be better as it'll be the real Friday, and I'm going out, yay

Evening all... (yawn!)
Another long day... in the London office for 7.30 this morning and did an hours work before heading over to one of the NGO's that I work with to get some filming done for my conference presentation next week. It was all really rushed but I am pleased with the results. Then onto a meeting in the city... at 5pm as the meeting finished, my director called me to say that he could not access the other video that we need to use next week and that he just HAD to see it tonight (couldn't wait for it to be delivered tomorrow) so I had to trek across to Victoria to pick up a DVD and then drop it off at his house... AND HE WASN'T EVEN HOME! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...... so I got home 2 hours later than I planned.
1) Got a letter from my dad. He had to send me a cheque but put a long letter in with it. He has never written me a letter or even an email before.
2) Ginger nut biscuits at the filming (my favourite!)
3) Arranging a date with KiwiBoy... I know what you are saying Ladies about it being perfectly fine to be single... believe me I know! I've been single for 10 years.
4) hmm... this is getting difficult now... stopped myself from spending £5 on Tom Yum soup for lunch... I love Tom Yum soup but £5 is rather expensive. I settled for a brie baguette
5) only 1 day left in the office... and 1 week left of work until I'm on holiday...
Anyway, it's an early bedtime for me today... I'm shattered...

Jexygirl - TYE has always had a good knack of being there at the right time for sympathy
Savingforoz - Well at least there are two of us who are happy about it
Ollie - I'll let you know when I need some help with my handbag :rotfl:Hopefully I'll have the prices soon and I can nip the problem in the bud.
wssal00 - I'm glad to hear you have some appointments. Have you tried an exclusion diet to try and pinpoint the problem?
Again sorry about the little rant yesterday but it helped me get it off my chest and I slept really well
My recent ones:
1) Great nights sleep and waking up early
2) Getting some positive work done today
3) Quick trip to Mr T's at lunch time....got some YS stewing steak and dark chocolate. Also filled up with petrol so it means I won't have to drive anywhere at the weekend

Evening all,
Really tired tonight so early night beckons.
1. Sending a get well card to someone.
2. Making the time to speak to people at work, not in my team.
3. Eating a salad for lunch two days on the trot.
Oops that's all. Night all.Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

Evening everyone,
Jexy - My gnocchi thingy is really easy and a bit of a cheat. I just make up a bolognaise sauce, boil up the gnocchi (shop bought) for a few minutes then drain. Add the gnocchi to the sauce put into a dish top with grated cheese and bake for 10 minutes. I know I should make the gnocchi if true OS but afraid a bit lacking on that front.
Mine for today:
1. Took some twinks into work which made me very popular in the office and my desk had lots of passing trade. My desk is in the corner so people had to go out of their way:rotfl:
2. Busy but productive day at work and managed to call in some favours to help out with one of the projects we are working on.
3. Sun shining today, managed to get wahing dried outside again
4. Man at TFL being really helpful. DD's free bus pass not working so he is sending a new one and a form that I can claim back the fares that I have spent till the new one arrives:T
5. Attended a Friends of Guides meeting tonight and agreed to do some volunteer work for them. DD has been a rainbow, brownie and now a guide so felt it was time to give something back. Was unable to do before now due to work and home ties but glad I can now help out.
Hugs to all who need them0
