Just watching Shirley Williams talk about the forthcoming Vera Brittain film - looks fascinating.
Pleasures for today:
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) Sons off to school OK.
3) BUILDERS HERE!!!
4) Went to Worcester to have a cup of tea with my school friend.
5) Went to mum and dad's to use their loo.
6) Cleaned floors after builders left. The kitchen ceiling is only lathe and plaster so dirt and dust had fallen through that onto everything. :-/
7) Tasty tea of Jamie Oliver's cheaty spelt mixture with avocado, pepper and some lovely tomatoes off the allotment.
8) Sitting by the fire but might have to pop to swimming later to use their showers!0 -

Pleased we're back to normal now, t'was somewhat difficult trying to decipher the !!!!!!! posts!
1. The badger has gone thanks to half a box of £1 hair dye. Blonde is back
2. Cleared out under the stairs, I can see the wall at the back now for the first time in months. There was nothing there worth keeping, just a few odds and ends and a couple of boxes of books for the cs, so goodness knows why I'd not got rid of them before now. Cs was very grateful, said they were particularly short of books at the moment.
3. Dried a friend's work clothes on my radiators, her td has broken and I don't have (or want) one so the ch was on for a few hours today. It was lovely and cosy but will just have it on for my shower in the morning, don't want to get used to it yet
4. DS's OH's birthday today, sent her a living flower card, I had a voucher for a 'free' one because one I sent a few weeks ago turned up four days late.
5. Had tea with a friend at a local garden centre this afternoon, the tea and pie were good but it was far too wet to wander outside. I was very restrained and just bought two more trays of cyclamen from the casualty department. They flower all through the winter so should have lots of cheerful colour in the garden.
Sweet dreams0
