    7. FINALLY managed to get in to my MrT credit card account - I've been locked out for ages and eventually had to be talked through the process over the phone as the codes that were sent through by the automated system just didn't cut the mustard!
that's interesting. I too have been wrestling and am on the point of giving up! I tried phoning but couldnt remember my password. Have now opened an m&s card (no problems with unlocking that one)
    1) my headache that descended at 10am finally left the building at 3. Sooooo nice when it had gone
    2) as screen work became increasingly difficult (see 1) started doing other jobs less taxing including making rather overdue checkup appointment
    3) nice lunch with gbf even though at that stage was feeling wobbly (you know when the headache pills have cut in but your brain feels bleuh)
    4) lovely evening with dd2 and 3 friends in the pub
    5) dd2 will be in edinburgh for my bday so she gave me my pressie today - a lovely book of photos, mostly from the last year of my 3 lovely children, my lovely future sil, mum and les animaux. Thrilled and still a week to go till the real thing.

Yesterday was an average sort of day

    1. NSD

    2. Chatting with DS2 while driving him to his friends.

    3. DS1 finishing cooking tea while I was out - it was just cooking spaghetti and heating up bolognaise sauce.

    4. Lovely sunset.

    5. Finally getting reply from a work email regarding annual leave - semi good news but will have to take most of my query further.
  • Hi (sparrer).

    Yesterday:

-wasn't meant to be,but turned into an nsd.

    -washing all done.

-a lovely, sunny day,and not too hot.The forecast is good for the rest of the week. :j

-had a good swim, also did more than 10 000 steps (which doesn't happen a lot recently),and last but not least did some skipping!I'm determined to skip every day,it's such good cardio exercise.

-I've found out who the vegetable stealer is and confronted her.Hopefully that's that.
Very impressive,as I don't deal with confrontation at all well.It was quite civilized.

-spoke with a friend. We might manage to meet up today.

    Ainat Hi :hello: and welcome!

    NOT BUYING IT 2018!

Consumerism is.....buying things you don't need with money you don't have to impress people you don't know and probably wouldn't like even if you did know them.

    Pleasures for the weekend

    1. Lovely lazy morning on Saturday with a lie in and Sausage Sandwich for breakfast.
    2. Surprise baby shower for friend that I used to sit opposite at work. Was lovely to see her and she loved the gifts I had bought her for the baby and her little one. All bought in the sale but knew she would love them.
    3. Lunch with DD on Sunday, now we are not working together life is so much better.
    4. Food shopping all done and in budget
    5. Big pan of HM tomato sauce made from tomatoes lurking in fridge and a bag given off inlaws. Used some of the sauce to make a very yummy pasta dish with the half price bacon from Lidl.

    Monday's Delights
    1. Such a busy day at work but got lots sorted with new boss.
    2. NSD
    3. Boss agreed I could buy a radio for the office on company credit card as am on my own most of the time.
    4. Beef casserole, remembered to put the slow cooker on before work.
    5. Seeing DD so happy in her new job, think this is one that will just keep on giving.

    Tuesday's Goodies
    1. Another NSD
    2. Taking lunch with me to work, trying to be a little bit healthier and not spend money as well
    3. Some issues that I was stressing about a bit at work being sorted out with re markedly little fuss.
    4. Buying a new telephone for the office so I don't have to call the scary tenants that I have to deal with on my work mobile. I forgot to block my number so know 1 has it but he didn't seem too scary, fingers crossed.
    5. HM burgers for dinner, yummy

Hugs to all who need them

Welcomin Newbies. TL. Proper terms please, they're called Snorkers. Bunnies again, fish see below. Puppies. VL. Rule of BoP. Leave is mine, and ifs you do not like it, TUFF! DD. Typical, always a headache dear!!!!

5 Pan de Moany Anne last night at BoP plaice. Kedigree was taken by the cat. Ex Cat. Raffles is on the tiles now, eying up his prey. No, the Kedigree. Yes, it is spelt incorrectly as it was made with Mackerel not Smoked, natural, non-Icelandic Haddock. Tarted up with shrimps, caught by Mr Young in Fish Dock No:1. Recipe to follow. Oh, at w8rz, while looking for a wobbleade to sup, noticed that the salmon, as mentioned t’other day, that swims to Fish Dock No:1, has been reduced to an acceptable level of pennies. Purchased one. Eaten and gone. Raffles was ecstatic!

4 Just checking my recipes, thinking lime salmons this weekend, with new tatties and peas. Keep you thoughts down, because it could be stunning.

3 On that, so a small London fish shop on ogle box last eve. Now when I was a lad, and Dad BoP took me past hotel on road to Fish Dock No1, where the scampi lives, there were smacks. Lots of smacks. In fact, you could walk over the dock to without touching the quay or the water. The market never closed. Then the frogs came and cleaned up.

2 Got out of that one at the salt mine. Could had been in darkened room with no glass, as we do notes wants rivals seeing how clever we are at everything and providing oils for perfumes as well. Delegated sprog to meeting instead. As for perfumes, I am in the Bridge on most thirst daters evening, so if you needs a bit of pampering up afore the meal, give me a shout. Channel No5 is on special price.

1 If you use the wool to cover your eyes, you will not see the full rainbow in its glory!

Interpretation for the heard of reading, Smack, Fishing Smack!

PM 2 & Note, I am offs from salt mine on Friday, yellow thing detected.

Oh, and at the salt mine, seems last time we had big rush to get document out, was all panic. Now, under new management, the rudderless ship has already produced 90% of what is required. Come and try the new recipes as well! Free cellar with every purchase.

    Skipper still missing.

Please remember that all recipes, if provided, are in proper measurements and we cook on gas.

    1. Bought DD a fab RDahl "Matilda" mug :)

    2. More school stuff done :)

    3. DD had a brilliant time at her tennis course. I'm feeling smug as I had to work hard persuading her to sign up for it and now, quelle surprise, she LOVES it and would like to join the club!

    4. School 'day' was short as everyone left at 1pm when the caretaker did. Hoorah, I feel a lot less tired! All this being a newbie means I have very little in my back pocket, resources and ideas-wise, so whilst I'm doing lots of work now, I'm hoping it will pay dividends later....

    5. Put iplayer on in the background whilst I got on with things in my classroom.

    6. Sunshine!

    7. The cooking dinner is smelling lovely as the aroma wafts upstairs to entice me down....nomnomnom :)
    8. Hmmm, not going to get too excited, but I've had nearly £1k put into my account from TCredits!! Need to call them to find out why they've been so generous (and then put the money somewhere where I won't be too tempted to spend it, although if correct, I'll be looking into booking flights to Italy for next summer!) :):):)

Just in and really enjoyed Dead Ringers:
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b04dn1ry - so that's 1.

1[a]. Early whim followed. BStE Market Day. It's been a while. Car under hedge down end of village. Bus rather full, lots of Italian spoken, dkw.

    2. Air very clear, sharp today - possible to see landmark Cathedral and beyond 30 miles away from upper deck.

    3. Only 2 No More Books from BstE library, 30p each is allowed and already nearly through this 'Good Things I Wish You' - http://www.amanetteansay.com/wordpress/
Never heard of her before. Should have done. Unlike anything I've come across 'til now. Maybe shades of Joan Didion but no, that won't suffice either. Gripping. Spare. Lush.

    4. Treat to self. Icecream in the Abbey Gardens, rum'n'raisin - scrummy.

    5. Gardens beautiful. Just looking out over them is a good, good thing. I know I've written as much other years. Robin and squirrel both within 2' of one of mine for moments at a time.

kk- it's come to my email again:

bop - absence of any &photo skills demerits any praise from this qtr, but even I could appreciate your Green Man pic the other day. Just a? How come ball came out wrong shape? Need more Chanel no. 5 actually. Well done that Raffles. Gas for &squat recettes aussi, with sporadic Panasonic whizzbang.
