Evening all..that's Monday over and done with.....hoping to sleep better tonight. Woken at 12.30am by my son , who had forgotten his key! I got such a fright as I'd been sound asleep, assumed he had his key and thought it was the police at the door in my dozy state!
Anyway, work was workety, very quiet at times ( but not complaining too much...I know what happens!
Got my train on time, thought I was going to just miss it.
Enjoying seeing lots of photos on FB of my friends kids...back to school today in Scotland .
Made macaroni cheese with some prosciutto on top but it was a bit too salty...still nice though.
Will keep a 5th pleasure in reserve.
Have a good one0 -
Watt do you get for a no show?
Bunnies, no, we need more hugs. Actually, think BoP and bear hugs. Now I thinks that has chilled the spines, I will continue, in the same vain that is! Oh, and just in case you fort I was going too soft, Jenny sends a :heartpuls to the needy! Frogs, that is what chat lover & is on abits. Our tiger, Raffles, does not like frogs, he has his own protected from humanoids, Newts, crested of the great variety. Either that or he loves pond life! Breakfast in Bed. No no no no no no no no no no no no no no So bad, Jenny will be in shock. :heartpuls :heartpuls :heartpuls :heartpuls :heartpuls :heartpuls :heartpuls :heartpuls :heartpuls. On bored BoP ship, ifs you cannot be bothered to get out of the bed, your breakfast will not be wasted, BoP eats instead. Best I talks non of food, cos when I does, BoPsie thinks she is not going to be fed. Starve.
PM 2 KK BAH HUMBUG
In fact, anyone else mention it, BoP will be round your gaff
5 As usual, we tempted Raffles, Puss of Fuss, with a treat stick yesterday. All is well in Raffles land. This very morning, BoPsie was feeding him sachets of cheap, non Whiskas, cat food from W8rz. He has not stopped when the Salt mine beckoned.
4 Have you noticed the lack of Spotted !!!!!! in BoP’s diet recently? Well, yesterday, I attacked the stove in earnest and produced poached salmon. From the Young’s variety. Now these salmon, swim from the Pacific, to wear Mr Young keeps his secret trove of Scampi. Fish Dock No:1, in Grimsby. Bet you never knew that. And yet again, the salmon was had with minted, buttered, BBE Apr 11, and fresh from the farm in two hours, peas of the garden variety! Then dished up with Strawberries and ice Cream. All is fed in the land of BoP.
As is usual on stove events, BoP can launch the pans from the stove into the sink, without ever getting close to the sink. Occasionally there is a bounce out, which causes collateral damage. Raffles normally clears up any dropped food.
3 No film last night, but caught up with the cricket. Got to say, the England bowling was a bit miss really, but India, shocking batting. Most were schoolboy errors. Nice to have a series win though.
2 BoPsie is egging for another Scrabble event this week, so I must choice my wireds carefully. Yous see, she has removed a number of my recent words from the inter reactive crossword of time. Any how, think we will get the Monopoly out instead. We have added in house rules as well. Should cat knock your building off, it is regarded as cultural event, and is returned to the bank. Raffles takes all. Also, gives the old, proper die cast, with rubber tracks, Tonka Bulldozer, in faded yellow and black colour scheme a dusting off. No, I think we will play Captains Maiden instead.

Hi Marmite. I didn't take it as criticism, hope you didn't think so
. I took your gentle hug and it started me on the path to feeling better, just like a hug should. Thank you so much, it was just what I needed, a healing hug.
You are so right, there's no way we can be cheerful all the time, it's just not possible.:)

1. DD had a brilliant time and made a new chum at her tennis course this morning, who I think was in my first class at the lovely private school. Will find out for sure tomorrow when I take her to the courts
2. It felt like old times when I went to my classroom today - old times because I was lugging very heavy bags of stuff in like I did on placement and because it's starting to feel like 'mine'
3. Had a good chat with the school business manager and 3 other NQTs (they of course thought I was an experienced teacher, it's the grey hair that does it!)
4. A bit of sunshine amongst the rain!
5. My travel expenses have been reimbursed from the NQT course run by the union - woohooI'm in the money!
6. Mummykins has borrowed some library books for me.
7. Got lots done at school, I now know what's in the big scary cupboard....it's still a bit scary, but I'll have books to rummage through for help when feeling stuck with planning at any point!
PM TO BOP - Went to Co$tco this evening and they already had panettone and Italian festive biscuit selections in....even for me, that's too early! Bah humbug indeed!!!0 -
