  • You get a right what for!

Here kitty kitty kitty. Oi, Raffles nicked my cheese last eve as I ate the pork pie! Chicken leek pasta bakes, fishes, Smeaton’s Tower and bowls? Felix cats, Raffles down! Corners turned, jobs! Mint sauce? And a six incher, bath filled to such. DD, watch out for smoke and mirrors. Oooh Isis, yous bin as long as we have had Raffles. Guess it is in the name!

5 Got to the salt Mine yesterday that the kind people at Apple advised me that my account had been hacked and they wanted me to reset my passwords and card details. I was astonished as this was on the salt mine email and not the one I use for songs that matter. Still, I duly gave it the attention it deserved, so watch out there!

4 Talking of liberties and hacking etc, there is a special room in BoP’s house that is down stairs, down stairs, not under the stairs. Now on my bid to save water, I am going to have to install a waterless urinal system to prevent intruders coming into my personal chambers. Yesterday, as the seat was down, it was obvious that the ex Ms BoPsie had been in there. Doing what, well I can no imagine. And as the new wall throne will be of a waterless nature, it also helps protect the environment at the same time. Ah, made you all flush there.

3 Last night managed to get my oar in again and hopefully later will be uploading a photo from last night.check back later.

2 Now I ask you, as you note above about the ExMs BoPsie, my grazing tray of rabbit food mix, now it is good for you if you want to hare and tear around, is missing a banana this day. Now BoPettes, do you think that ordering the waterless feature has anything to do with this missing banana. You may also note, that currently BoP is not eating Crab Sandwiches, which are bad for you!

1 Don’t believe everything you see in pink

Again my very grateful thanks to all of you for your support. We're just living from day to day at the moment.

    1. A day at home. Possibly a pleasure, the house is being cleaned up and I look forward to fresh linen on the bed tonight
    2. Little doglet's company, he's been spoiled by DNeighbour and her DD but abandoned by me so it's nice to spend some time sharing the sofa with him
    3. Not having to fight mway traffic, although it's definitely easier on weekdays with professional drivers rather than weekends when all the 'cloth cap' drivers are on the roads. Highest mpg so far is 52.1. Very happy with that
    4. My British Legion Lights Out candle arrived this morning so I'm ready for Aug 4th.
    5. Watched Glasgow Girls last night. Very well done but left me with mixed feelings (I'm always being told I over analyse)

    Have a sunny day :)

marmite - Foxychops is gorgeous! My first ever cat, when I was a kid, was that sort of colour, so I have a great fondness for cats that look like that. :)

sparrer - thanks for the mention of the British Legion Lights Out thingy - I hadn't heard of that, but will now be taking part - and possibly buying another candle, too.

    1) Took my car into the garage as it had been making worrying noises since they did some work on it a few weeks ago, and it turns out that the noise was caused by the work they did so they didn't charge me for putting it right. :T

    2) Not at all OS, but M&$ have started selling their sherry trifle sponge cake again. It sounds wrong, but is absolutely .

    3) Managed to resist the temptation to buy something for dinner, and have instead dug some sausages out of the freezer which are now simmering their way to casserole-hood.

    4) Big, brave Isis has, after a few false starts, gone back outside and, perhaps not surprisingly, shows no inclination to venture outside of my garden.

    5) Slice of sherry trifle cake to follow the casserole. ;)
Back after a very long break!

    Evening all.

    My pleasures for the day.

1 - Some of my roses are still going strong so I decanted them into a cleaned out jam jar. Tied a ribbon around the jar and now have a pretty mini bouquet.

    2 - Small lie in.

3 - Bit of a spendy day as I had to replace something today but comfortable with the fact that I now always have money should these things crop up.

4 - Afternoon/evening spent on the patio in the sunshine.

5 - Banana loaf just out the oven. Nom.

Marmite, foxychops is lovely! One of these days I shall have to post a photo of Ziggy. There used to be Twist as well, his brother, but sadly he got run over and died last year.

(((Sparrer))) prayers and thought to you and your family.

Here's me today, on this lovely sunny day:

    1. Did my legs with an ancient epilator, it worked well in spite of its age and did not hurt as much as I feared (saved up to £50 London price for a good quality full leg and bikini wax). Decent result too!

    2. Am in credit with electricity company so tomorrow will claim a good chunk of money back.

    3. Nice lunch with a friend.

    4. My return to OS ways is hoping well

    5. DH found a bundle of really good wood in a skip and hauled it back in to use in our future allotment shed (to be built after the kitchen is done).

    Good night.
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

    1. Lovely walk at 5.30 warm and sunny.

    2. Listening to a baby laugh at work - made everybody around laugh as was very infectious.

    3. Chat with neighbours.

    4. Easy tea of chicken and salad.

    5. Reading my kindle.
  • Beautiful Day in South East Ireland today. Air smells warm. I love that smell

    5. Had a real giggle at lunch yesterday with work gals. Chat got a bit naughty and we all had a giggle. I'm sure the poor blokes at next table were wondering what we were all cackling at :D

    4. My daughter and I found some ladybirds in our garden and let them crawl on us.

    3. We had sandwiches for dinner. Ahhh still cant express how weightless it feels to not have grumpy husband coming in every evening looking for dinner. He was a bit more than "grumpy" but don't want to dwell

    2. We brought our lovely cats to vet and they were very calm. Looking out at the dogs with their usual look of disgust. There was a puppy peeing every 5 minutes and I could almost here my cats saying "Really"!!!! and sniffing the air with disgust.

    1. My delightful 5 year old had a blast at the vet because it was full of her favorite people (vets) and animals

And an extra one for good luck . . .a full eight hours sleep. Yummy

Best for you all today and I hope the sun is shining where ever you are :j
