skinto hope your boy has an amazing time. Enjoy the peace and quiet and you can look forward to him coming home and telling you all about it!
Talking of boys, my boy started work today. With OH and half hour notice that he would be working! He is not particularly a morning person ( none of them are ...just me really:)) so did well to be showered and breakfasted and ready in time to go. It was a possibility as OH has a big project on and he had to get the powers that be in UK to okay taking him on...and we had to wait for UK people to wake up and make the decision whilst we were sleeping! It will be for a few weeks before uni restarts but will give him some much needed cash and a bit of purpose!!
I had an amazing day. I was booked into a one to one barista training session through work with the very nice Carlos. I had already met him a couple of times through work and I had the most fantastic morning.
Got a text from interesting staff dynamics person this morning...a bit narked about something and I was more than a bit annoyed that she was annoyed with something I had been instructed to do by boss......but then she sent me a nice text tonight asking how I'd got on at course....will see what tomorrow brings!
Has been another hot potato kind of day.....was all dolled up for my training session and wore my beautiful new brooch, if you google Kallista Kookaburra you will see it. It's about 3" tall.
Made chicken (rtc) curry and naan bread for dinner.....dough proved on the window sill again
No one has uploaded casualty yet so I watched the very first episode ever whilst I did the biggest ironing in the world. Charlie was just a boy!! This series started when I was a mere 17 years old.
Wrote a list of to do s but only to did some of them....didn't quite get round to bathrooms or hoovering! But did manage to sweep porches, iron and take magazines to library ....as well as a bit of veg gardening. Was too busy chatting on Fbook and watching ancient nursing programmes.
Right , bedtime here . Have a lovely day0 -
Ooh and another pleasure.....just sunk into clean bedding0

Now I does nots have to tells you lot to be safe, but you all nose it is safe internet day. This falls every year, on or around the time when the media need to fill their 59 minutes of nonsense with more dearth and misery. So if you have problems, the there is a button on the consumer unit. Turn this to the off position and you will be saved. Of curse, some around here have Putah problems, and their connexions are normally disturbed. Naughty naughty, but snacks are aloud. & Dun. But did so threw mes twitter friend. I am sure yous and her are connected! Oh, but she loves her lad that plays rugby so!
Now what is it with this Gentleman Caller thing? Has that Dr C fallen from disgrace? Is it something that is kept in the closet for a rainy day Bakers dozen, that will be for the dog bag then. Cakes, all round eh! And the Marmite debate. Keep the brown stuff flowing here. Ah, the cute cats. Raffles is fuss pot now. He came and eat horse and cart. Now on refusals if not Go-Kat! Tinted roots. Oh, BoP never went rusty! Chocolate resistance. Unheralded in the palace of BoP. Extra note to KK below! DD we has a saying with cat. When they go to bed, and we share, our cats always Long Snake. That is, lay long way against you. And the cheese for the wine?
Oh and &.There are strange forms of abuse. The problem cries when the perpetrator hides behind some medieval thought about it. Just as the lambs were carried to market in Haradh on the back seat of the pick up, the wives were lush in the elements in the open back. Life has come a long way to go yet.
5 On the way into work, I garnered again crater knowledge than I could possibly had foreseen yesterday. I can now tell you lot, that diversity is finished, no more. So last century, such. Got it. We need more Culture and Values. So this very morn, I have torn up the pages of the Effics documents, well they are printed as it is safe internet day, and readied for the bonfire come my birthday, save £5 a week so for gals. Remember the corrective training session we had a few years back, when Dan, came back as Danielle. Such invigoration was stirred when one piped up at the end, and enquired whether the hormones were cured as well. Poor girl from Human Remains left quickly. Dan, never listened. Turned up at 9:30 and went home at 9:25 most days. Always wanted to hear whant he wanted to hear, yet never listened Was told by his Dr. that he was ok, yet flew off to Thailand and copped off his pocket rocket. .Oh, and Dan, he wants to be Dan again! And he left our employ, within weeks..
4 I won at Scrabble last nite. Thinks I already teld you lot did I not.
3 Checked our sofa last night for goodies and I really do think either BoPsie does keep her house proud, or she has skimmed off the cream, and spent it on her sen. We had not a morsel.
2 BoPsie has her usual Gentleman Caller this evening
1 You can keep looking!
And finally. KK, you’re back where you belong, and that is under my posts, on my bottom. I am afraid, while Chikka’s reign was nice, I cannot be for the life of Ms BoPsie, refute words like that!0 -
PK - thanks for the suggestion re Feliway - I actually bought some at the vet's yesterday (at astronomical cost - thank goodness you can get the refills cheaper online!) and I'm hoping it will help calm Isis down a bit.
1) Mentioned at work that I needed to go into town to get a new extension cable, and a colleague said she'd found loads of spares at home and I could have one. :T
2) Saw a really nice GP who prescribed me some tablets to calm the symptoms of my anxiety, and some strong antihistamines to calm the symptoms of mould allergy and to help me sleep. I'm really lucky with that GP practice - with the exception of one nurse (who I avoid seeing if at all possible) they're all lovely.
3) Isis has clearly come out of hiding briefly while I was at work and ate a small amount of food, which has to be a good sign.
Hmm, I think that's about it for today. Hopefully I'll be feeling better by tomorrow when the tablets start taking effect.Back after a very long break!0 -
